I reckon Cripps might not get a game next week. Good on the inside but that's it. Looks slow with no tank.
He did a few nice things late in the quarter, hopefully builds on that and can get a decent score.

“I shouldn’t say this in front of the cameras, but it’s very, very difficult to see where we’re going to lose a game,” Malthouse said to much applause.

“I can’t see it. I’m an optimist. I look at them at think: ‘Gee, they’re a good bunch of kids’, I love them and I reckon they can get the best out of themselves and we can have a damn good year.
Should be an interesting post match interview when they ask Mick about that then.

White has been putting a very hard tag on Dusty. He won't get tagged every week. Nothing to worry about imo.

SC aside. Richmond have found a player in McIntosh!!

Reminds me a lot of Grant Birchall (Minus the precise kicking, which he can work on). Big bodied and looks like he can run all day!

Anyone reckon that going a 4 rookie backline (McIntosh and Saad on field) could be a goer? McIntosh looks good for 70 odd points a game, Oxley, Brown even Hamling still options for the bench.
If saad cements is spot in Saturdays early game like Mcintosh is tonight then I think I may play 4 rookie defenders.

My last minute swap to put McIntosh on the field for Saad is my only highlight
