Very glad I didn't pick Salem or Newton. Saad, VDB and Hogan are all looking really good. Bennell a great score given he's done nothing useful in the real thing!

Also glad to not have Gaz, though hope he improves his performance a bit just from a fan point of view.

Haven't been watching but looking at the stats I reckon my players are lucky to be that high.

What's McKenzie? Very begrudgingly went McKenzie > Lumumba yesterday so I could afford Heeney.

ablett 39 at ht after missing a bit of the first quarter plus the fact suns are 4 goals down, only need the suns to get their act together and I can see gaz sneaking 100 which I think would be a satisfactory result all things considered. Salem a bit dissapointing so far though.

Harsh on Ablett here. Actually watching the game shows although he hasnt been perfect he has had some good moments despite playing through duress. Expect him to improve more so in the second half and score roughly 100. I don't have him in my team personally

Salem very disappointing. Only positive so far is if I didn't have him, I would've started Miller instead so no loss yet. Didn't think he was worth the 180k but made a late change to 3 rookies up front so he was nesseccary.

Vandenburg great, Saad great, Ablett poor but willing to give him time, Lumumba ok.

New plan next season: Pick no players in the first two matches and get excited by all the poor scoring players I've avoided. No Cotchin, no Cripps, no Murphy, no Gibbs, no Deledio, no Martin, no Ablett and no Salem. What a group of players not to pick!

I wouldn't get too confident about the non Gaz selection yet remember 1st game only counts for one price change, just like i wouldn't be dissapointed with Cripps, Martin, Cotchin etc only been one game!

To be fair Ablett is being outscored by a def/mid rookie debutant that is 632.2k cheaper so people with him clearly shouldn't be happy with his score so far. I'm certainly giving him two rounds to make a proper judgement but the signs are bad thus far.

I thought about doing the same, however at what point do you decide he is at his lowest value? I would worry I'd leave it 1 week too late and he'd pump out a 180.

The only consolation about Salem is the majority of people seem to have him, hopefully can push to around 70 by the end of the game
