1211/10, captain played. Looking at the scores in my leagues I'm doing very well. Possibly my best round for the season so far. Laird, Simpson, Selwood and Motlop all delivered.

Got Dangerfield as captain right and 7/10 players have scored 100s so far. Only exceptions were Gray, Saad and Miller. Really wish I put the emg on Miller so I could play Dumont if he wasn't the sub. Didn't really think about it until I did my trades tonight. Annoyingly I have to hope the decision costs me points otherwise Dumont will get dropped. A solid high 70s similar to last week would be nice.

OK, after my weekly in game tantrum, things didn't pan out as disastrously as I thought.

Amon subbed out, so hope for Dumont.
Wines slowed down, after looking like going massive.
Gray after being 57 half way through the last battled to around mid 80s, so only dropped 30 points by last minute captain change.

Still below par, but as long as I don't finish with a shocker, this week for me is more about structuring for next 3 weeks, no injuries and having the likes of Lang, Dumont etc securing their j/s...
Yeah was looking like a real disaster for Gray (c) coaches but i reckon a 30 point loss would have be in the range of 'life goes on' scores.

Similar thoughts with Amon myself. Was looking like the wrong choice after his blistering start but a slow third and a late sub has Dumont at least not getting blown out of the water.

First time I put the C on Gray he does that. Anyone else who has the option, bank Fyfe's points. That's my advice.
Thats what I'm doing. I decided to wait and see whether the other popular captain choices went big or not with the thought of choosing a Sunday captain if it looked like scores were going to go big. As this looks like a real carnage round, I think I will be happy to keep Fyfes score. I may miss out on a few points, but I think this is the percentage play at this stage.

Gray had scored more than what Fyfe did last night in each of his five previous games. The decision to make him captain was justified. The fact he didn't deliver doesn't mean you should have known to take Fyfe's score at the time you made the decision.

JPK, Gray (C) were the biggest let down of the premos. Forced to play rookies in Amon & Dale so I won't be too harsh on them... but CEY biggest let down from the rookies after being subbed.

Shaw, Goldy, Yeo, Tmac, Pendles, Swan & Oxley to come.

Tomorrow is massive for Dumont. Another good game, and he's set for the byes, if not.....

Unless he's pulled up badly I'm confident he won't start with the vest. After such a disgraceful second half last week you don't punish one of the better performers, especially a young one who set an example with 10 tackles.

I'm locking in Fyfe's score as well but i guess if you were gonna take a risk, this is probably the time to do it.

Alot of coaches are gonna keep Fyfe's scores, while others have gone Gray so there's even more to gain now (as well as less to lose) so it's almost like the odds have turned in your favour.

Captain Gray, Dollhouse, JPK and MJ's -3 the only real disappointments so far

Tomorrow/Monday will be interesting with Dev Smith, Goldy, Sheed/Dumont (sub dependent here), Yeo, Lewis, Burgoyne, Newnes, Swan, TMc, VandenBerg to come

Cheers mate, yeah a part of me wants to while the other half says just lock in the good points. I dont have as many options as you though with Pendles the only one i'd consider making skipper. Lewis im guessing would be one you're seriously considering?

Yeah hope so mate. I reckon North's outs make a real statement. Atley and McDonald in particular would be 2 they would want to continue to get games into so as long as Dumont can keep performing, he'll hopefully keep getting a game.

Very happy with my Miller to Wines trade!
Nice one Bobbie, grabbed him myself as well :D

Had a nightmare evening:

- Front row seat to watch one of the most insipid performances I've seen from my team.
- Bellchambers filling in at F6...
- Went Gray for the C instead of banking Fyfe.
- Amon at M8 subbed out, but happy he still got 60 odd.
- JPK earlier in the day. Seriously everyone at the Swans had a day out...

Anyway I will look on the bright side, just checked my emails and my fortune has changed for the better! Got an email from a European Attorny. Apparently some guy who shares my last name died and I may be his next of kin! His Estate is worth a cool 8 Million Euro.... All I have to do is send the Attorney my personal details and bank details and I'll soon collect!!!!! :D

I went with Tom Mitchell.
The other options were Gray (due for a down game imo), Danger (against my Blues with guys like Carrots and Curnow that can negate a bit) and Goldy ( a tall playing on a cold Tassie day)or Hodge. Hodge got 130 as VC last week but did not take and chances are will go lower this week. Then there is Pendles that is not 100% so was never a serious option for me.
I have punted on captain choices too much but not a lot to lose at this stage. Happy with Mitchell captain score but next week probably back to Fyfe and no points to gain there as everyone else will be on him again.

Yuk.

Had 3 players get red vested, had JPK and had Gray as captain. Not a fun day at all.

1256/12C with 9 Premo (or semi premos eg Newnes/Lumumba) to come.
Not confident they will score well, but hopefully they don't disgrace themselves and put up some decent scores.

Went Dangerfield as Captain and delivered a solid 130.

Selwood finding some form was good, except it was in a game I barely tolerated watching after 1/4 time. Arguably the worst I have seen Essendon play for a very long time :(

Happy with my new premo recruit Buddy.

Not happy with TBC and JPK...

I have Ward, Shaw, Gibson, Nic Nat, Swan, Pendles, Oxley and Hogan to come.

I dunno where my score sits yet. Hoping for a boost in my rank.

Including my donut. 2000 would be a win. Dirty day all round with the Bombers getting their pants pulled down.

More to gain than to lose with a 116 vice captain score. Have to be a premium you are bullish about that can beat that. Went Selwood myself but was all over Swan till I decided to back in Selwood at the last minute. One thing Swan does best is beat up crap sides and will be guaranteed not to cop a tag.

Gray has never hit the ton against the bullies, he averages 67 against them so I left him. I had the VC on Neale.. I have locked in Priddis as my captain, his forecast score is 153, fingers crossed!
