Rowbottom in! Does that mean he'll play do you think? Or just languish on the extended bench, could be great timing for us to have an extra warm body!

Yep, I’m a bit surprised at that, clearly they think Richie Douglas is a better mid than Gibbs too!
Was almost thinking of trading Greenwood in , has Douglas improved at all over the last few years ? how many chances can he have , try someone else.

Gibbs may as well retire

Douglas has been great for us! I reckon he a more defensive minded mid and clearly this is where Gibbs has been lacking, if you believe the media reports. Greenwood is definitely a more attacking mid forward type, obviously Matty Crouch has grabbed his spot.

I feel we could be a bit inside mid heavy though with CEY, the Crouch bros and Rory Sloane, no x-factor Greenwood type.

Got 20 playing this week even after trading Sicily in.

Think my bottom 2 will be a combo of Balta/Clark/Setterfield/Answerth/O.Baker

Any chance Hayes, Scott, Atley and Young play next week?
I'll answer that: 3/5ths of 5/8ths of bugger all chance I would say.

I got 18 lights this week but if I don't trade this week I will be fielding a skeleton team next week. Just have to cop only having between 14-16 players next week unless I get very creative.

maybe I am getting Douglas and McKay mixed up again , never have and never will work out which one is which.

Gibbs has never had a good defensive side to his game , they must have known that from his Carlton days , can't understand what is going on.

CEY has been good too , I think the X factor at the centre bounce will be Milera , Sloane on a wing , but still leaves the 2 Crouches.

Greenwood offers a lot up forward too.

Sloane has a fitness test tomorrow , so be interesting if Gibbs or Greenwood end up coming back in.

At this stage, I'm going to get smashed in R13. After this week's preferred trades, I'd be looking at 14 max next week. That 14 includes Rockliff, ROB and a couple of rookies that could miss. Even using 3 trades and with good luck, I'll struggle - good chance to be as low as 14/15 playing.

This round is looking good though, got a full side of 22. I could make it 20 this round and 16 next (pre R13 trades), but I don't like the players I would be trading in as much.

Thinking I should just sacrifice the 1 really bad week next week. If anything, I am more focused on leagues as I am doing awful overall, but I know I won't be winning them either. I am also fairly low on trades. Guess it is probably better to focus on getting the better final team at this stage.

...I really have no idea what to be aiming for this season after how bad it has been. I think that's my main problem.

CEY has been great this year, you could potentially argue he's Cost Gibbs his spot. D-Mac has been perennially been the 22nd best player in the team, still has done well for himself to get to being a 200 game 10+ year player.

Douglas is better than that, club champion, maybe not a top tier premo mid but just the next step down, I think he's probably the new Scott Thompson, although CEY fits that description too.

You’re right about Milera, seems to be quickly evolving to be able to play anywhere, great half back, gun mid and can kick goals - I’m calling the Dangerfield trade a win!

Mr Milera now has 50 games under his belt so the base is their , theoretically the next 50 will be of a higher standard , time they use his foot skills and easiness to the advantage , I would be telling Crouch boys to handball to Milera every chance they get.

Quite like CEY as well.

I will pay more attention to DMac and Douglas from now on.
