Just have to laugh at the comedy of errors that umpiring AFL games has become.

Sack them all and start again I say, too many old, confused, routine driven umpires around.
This is what is frustrating. It's not just the comedy capers of last night. Every game is just a crapshoot as to what will be paid and what will not. It's arguably more compromising than anything else that's happened to the season and game this year.

And it's not just the umpires themselves - it's the constant changing of interpretations that makes their job almost impossible. Probably what we are seeing, really.

It’s has been horrendous.

Viney takes the legs of Steele, Mapies stream forward Melbourne flood the defence viney is on the mark, Steele has the ball. Every player on the field knows it’s a Magpie free kick.

Except the umpire.

And the. Moments later exact same situation but this time goes the other way.

Players are dropping the ball with prior nothing, player has no chance of prior Ump calls holding the ball.

Then the FREO Game....well..

The media need to call it as it is. Horrendous.?

Still kinda on a high after just getting home from Optus and watching replay
My well documented affection for L Ryan has grown stronger over the past month, largely thanks to 7 consecutive tons posted and is vying with Petracca as my best starting selection this season.

A SuperCoach staple for years to come and softens the blow received by the Smith donut.

Who needs J Lloyd!!![/QUOTE

I Dooooo.

Started Crisp over Lloyd. Dumb......

Need Shoenberg to score reasonable today, as I got myself in to a trade pickle yesterday (ended up having to keep Gawn). Also have to field Honey unless Davis gets a call up. Although Honey scored poorly, he looked ok and with Carlton winning he may keep his spot (hoping anyway). You have to really be on the ball with in-round trading this year.
