It's interesting that so many seem to have decided to jump straight back on S Mitchell. I'm pretty wary. 2 late outs (was it?) early in the season, then half the season out. He's a champion, and could still score well, but I'm not sure I trust his old legs.

I guess if you have the luxury he'd make a good D6/D7 loop and Mid loop/cover.
Lesson for Round 19. Listen to your own advice. I didn't. I lost all the leagues I wanted to win and about 1500 spots because of it. That's my review.

Heroes: Selwood (c), 5 100s + a 90 in defence, Goldy, Parker and Stefan.
Villains: Leigh Montagna! Taking account his recent bad record he is heading straight to the tribunal. Zorko gets a suspended sentence.
Comments: Incredible how one round really can ruin your season. In round 14 I had a weekly rank of 107k and the next five weeks I've been top 12k each week yet my overall ranking is still worse now than at the start of round 13 (1598 now, 1438 then).

I can't believe my Grimes > Birchall trade cost me 8pts. Bloody Adcock finally pulls his finger out when I don't need him.

In fairness though any player could have got the flu. He didn't miss because of the reasons you were wary of picking him. I think that's just bad luck and it struck a lot of teams.

I heard somewhere that Robbie Gray was down due to being flu ridden during the week.

69 spots behind you which equates to 300 points give or take.
some big wholes in points throughout the top hundred.
I think there would be a lot of teams who have been chasing hard all year but now have no trades and poor cover who will be going backwards quickly. Teams who can field 22 players from now on should be jumping up the rankings.

Score: 2310
Rank: 1,592 from (1,381)
Heroes: Fyfe, Selwood, Beams, Sandi, Parker, Stefan & Eski.
Villains: NDS, Wingard, SJ, Zorko & Mitchell.
Comments: Whoops almost forgot to do my review this week. My target of top 1,000 is slowly slipping away. Got my 2nd donut of the year when Sam Mitchell was a late withdrawal which didn't help my cause.

DEF: Eski back to his absolute best, Simpson 2 good weeks in a row and Bartel finally gets a ton after a string of bad games. Burgoyne really should have scored better but played a crap 2nd half. Swallow injured. Sam Mitchell was suppose to be my cover for Hibberd... didn't work out so well.... maybe I should have just sideways hibberd to hanely instead, that decision is coming to bite me in behind.
5/10

MID: Initially annoyed Fyfe did so well as I took the VC off him because of the week earlier but Selwood as VC made up for it. Beams 2 super weeks in a row. Pendles just average for the 3rd week in a row. JPK & Murphy's 100's simply ain't good enough for midfielders. NDS always does bad against the Cats so can let him off. Stevie J absolutely crap and almost suspended but luckily got off. 5/10

RUC: Sandi came back from a well earned rest & Stefan continues to be such a revelation. 10/10!!!

FWD: Only 1 ton from my forwards with Parker. My crow boys danger and Tex didn't make the ton but scraped 90+ each so was ok. Dusty 98 scaled down to 86... was really annoyed by that. Never know which Zorko you get, he's either ON or he's not, this week he was the latter. Chad Wingard continues to be my most pathetic player, he needs to start winning his own ball, read a statistic somewhere that all of his possessions were uncontested, lift ya game wingard you bloody spud. 4/10

GOOD LUCK FOR THE SC FINALS EVERYBODY, MAY THE ODDS BE FOREVER IN YOUR FAVOUR!!!
