1,409/14 - yet to fully decide if I go conservative and lock in Ablett VC or go Danger.

Happy with Fyfe, Adams, Laird, BenKen, but like many others disappointed with Rocky, Barlow, Gawn and to a lesser extent Sheridan and Lonergan (gotta take the good with the bad with midpricer gambles).

I think I am comfortable that I have all the must have rookies, so new round will be dealing with Barlow and Rocky...

Good news at last! Was hoping for this news given the Crows had the game iced so early.

. . . . .

CHAD WINGARD was taken off the field late in the game as a precaution for hamstring spasms, but will be available to play against Essendon on Friday night.

So too will teammates Justin Westhoff and Travis Boak, who also left the field during the game with concerns.

Westhoff had a dislocated finger corrected in the opening term and Boak left the field to have his knee checked after half time.

Both returned to complete the game.

Ugly round, 1579/16, hoping Captain Danger can bring home the bacon.

Great to see the champ Nat Fyfe bust out a big one, he will be a huge POD now and will hopefully not be easy for non-owners to account for.

Unfortunately so many problems in my team, and they are all with supposed "set and forget" premiums! Similar to others: Barlow, Rockliff.

Have been too scared to look until now but as expected I'm going shizen.

1419/16

Rocky, Sgray, Barlow, Sheridan, Lonergan, Gawn, Goldy and locked in Tippa's score so no Adams on field either.

Will take a decent hit overall I suspect with no Fyfe, Gaz, Dusty, Benken either.

Danger (c), Bartel, Cripps, Kerridge, Weitering, Buddy to come. 2000 please.
Sam Gray is very intriguing - he ran riot through the midfield in Round 1, yet was very quiet in R2.

A lot will be scared off by this R2 performance, making him a genuine POD. If he becomes a must have (ie. strings together 5-6 R1-type games), it will be too late for most coaches when that becomes apparent.

Hall, while a POD at the start of the season...will become cookie cutter at the end of this round.

1635/17 with Danger (c), Nic Nat, Yeo, Kerridge and Mills to play. I expect to end up a bit below par this week given I don't have Fyfe, Martin or Libba who all performed well. Need a big game from Danger C, Nic Nat and Yeo today...everyone will be fielding Kerridge and Mills. Hope for 2200+

Other than Rocky, Barlow and losing 27pts by fielding Gresham over Menadue I'm not too disappointed. 9 players have tonned up so far and happy with my team overall

Either 15 / 1566 Gaz C, or 15 / 1446 Danger C.
Need some help with this one. 120 always my cut off point so I'm thinking of banking the 120 score.

Danger, Bartel, Shaw, Shiel, Weitering, Kerridge and Mills still to chase the pill.

BTW : A non owner but great to see Fyfe up and about - solid game.

If i had the VC on Ablett instead of Goldy i would be locking it have a cut off point for a reason :)

17 / 1720 (C)

Thought I was off the pace but this appears about par, captain Goldy costing me 25 pts trying for a POD instead of just plonking it on Gazza sucks a bit.

Same story as everyone here with Rocky and Barlow but my def line has stood wonderfully tall this week: 4 / 443 with Bartel and the Gov to go.

Over to the trades thread to work out what to do next...

In the same position Creeker - I think I am going Danger because a) he has a great history against GWS, b) he is on fire at the moment and c) many others will also go Danger C so you are negating a choice somewhat.

Hmm 16/1549. Danger C to come still. Jumped a week early on Dea > Adams and was rewarded short term. Didn't get to see any of yesterday's games but it sounds like Barlow had another stinker. Could very well be gone next week for me.

Agree mate, but just locked in Gaz because a) saw a coach last week with the vc on Gaz (278), didn't think it was enough and went with Fyfe (122). And b) it's bloody Sunday. My Sunday carnage was taken to a new extreme level last week.
Be happy in knowing I've gone with Gaz as Danger is sure to smash it now. No doubt whatever decision I make on a Sunday, it is always bound to go pear shaped.

Thanks for taking one for the team. My C is on Danger.

1162/12 so going okay, Danger (C), Bartel, Shiel, Naitanui, Hurn, Kerridge, Weitering, Franklin, Hanneberry, Mills to come.

I was at the Saints Bulldogs game last night and anyone who doesn't have Libba grab him - he was very very good. Won contested football and hit targets.

Watching Adams live for the first time and he was impressive - hard at the ball and clean with his disposal. I know only early days but could he become our D6 for the year. At the moment he is my highest scoring defender.

1297/13 for me. Danger (C), Parker, Naitanui, Shaw, McGovern, Hurn, Weitering, Kerridge, Hewett/Mills to come.

Suspect I'm a little behind the average at the moment. My top 2 negative POD's in Dusty & Pendles scoring well doesn't help.

Barlow/Rocky are both big problems but both are fairly popular picks at 36.2%/31.7% ownership.

1,659 / 16 + C (Ablett)

Sunday warriors: McGovern, Danger, Mills, Hewett, NN, Kerridge

Tracking for another 2150-ish score similar to last week, considering I'm running without Libba/BenKen and none of the bolters thus far, I take that as a reasonable start to the season.

Like most, I have the Rocky/BCrouch/Barlow conundrum...will be a busy week ahead at the selection table at FLYING HORSES HQ.
