You know what I dislike? I dislike seeing five tons v 1 against a winning side. I would like the result of the match to actually make a difference when they are finalising the scaling. I would like a couple of hundred points or so weighted into the winning side ... I think it matters. SC is ultimately a game we play to win, and I think that should be reflected.

knowing Richmond they will lose to Freo on Sunday :)

Cats lose to Collingwood (we have a good recent record over them) and then the Giants , Swans could go higher.

WB and Port is massive tomorrow , Doggies can't afford to drop that as the Hawks will be massive in Hodgey's farewell.

Think your boys have the best chance of getting into the 8.

Some great games coming up.
I have hope but we still need to win the games first. We've dropped some shockers against weak sides. We're still very lucky to be a chance.

Think I'll take Greenwoods 90, have the option to either sub off Higgins or Nank - Think I'll go Nank but no Soldo making me reconsider

Wondering also whether to take Greenwoods score and bench Ebert. Problem is Ebert can go big on his day.

Looks my decision to not trade in Sloane yesterday could cost me 2 finals. very few different players.

The plan two weeks ago was to trade in Sloane for Selwood when his 170 dropped out of his price, but yesterday i looked at opponents and thought maybe Sloanes possible injury niggle and rockliff playing north next week could win me a grandfinal

whoops

same. put greenwood on mid bench when I shoud have upgraded to sloane to cover neale. now need to trade neale.

difference of trading to win vs trying to saving a trade and opposition loses game.

Maybe it reflected game. Adelaide had significant more scoring shots and more use of the ball. Swans won due to efficiency in front of goals.

sometimes winning is from having several plays where you have quick ball movement, dont over use ball and score goals from 40-50 out with no one in the arc.

Agree.

Swans were way more efficient in front of goal and that's what lost it for us. Our general play and pressure was excellent although there was a flagging in the last 10 minutes.

Side note: we can't blame the umpires!

Really struggling with who to bench if I want Greenwoods 90.

Greenwood at F7 with E and Eddy non playing F8.

F1 - 6 are Macrae, Dahlhouse, Dixon, Douglas (locked out), Heeney (locked out), Greene.

SC Gold predicts Dahl 69 and Dixon 80 and I would like to bench one of them.

Dahl has only scored above 90 once in his last 6 tries, Dixon 3 in 6, their three round averages are almost identical at 75 & 77, Dahl averages 73 against Port and Dixon only 56 against Bulldogs.

Dahl was the gun at the start of the season and could go large, Dixon could go large but it's cold and wet in Ballarat.

Please discuss and provide help.

Thanks in advance.

Today it's..........

Super Saturday: Snakes and Ladders

Super Saturday: Snakes and Ladders is a complex game requiring contestants to use their vast knowledge of football to succeed. It will have its ups and its downs, and likely to be frustrating, especially if you are bit by the snake in the grass. Your interest will hold across all Saturday games.

NB. The Jelly Bean Jar jackpotted last week. It's not over yet folks.

Cold, wet and windy (always seems to be windy at North Ballarat oval) suggests that Dahl has a better chance of producing the best score. Play the percentages unless you need to pull a few POD rabbits out of the hat.

My $0.02 :)

Yeah, i have little doubt the stats are accurate. My point is that, i really do think that the winning side should ultimately display a proportionate bias. I guess I'm in the minority though, and people prefer the absolute stats. Fair enough. Possibly I'm just grumpy too.
