If this has been covered previously apologies in advance. When the postponed game is played will the player scores be counted in SC? I would hope not.
My understanding is that Mel and Ess players will contribute two scores in a future round (assuming they play both games), a bit like a DGR in other fantasy formats.

Apologies if it has been covered, but I have the emergency on both Pickett and T.Brown in midfield which I originally intended to cover both Bennell and Clayton, if I were to trade either of the two and be left with one non playing player on field, would I revert back to the original emergency system in which I get the lower scoring of the two? Thanks in advance.

I hope not. They need to wipe that game out altogether. Otherwise some coaches will get a big advantage by getting those players in.

Exactly the point Inside50

I think their idea was that it would be an o***et for those who have a large number of Ess and Mel players, who have been disadvantaged this week.

I would suggest it’s a bit of a “two wrongs” situation.

Don't forget for everyone who is dissapointed/happy/upset with the Best 18 SC do have a "Contact Us" section.

Cheers
Lets just send happy messages. if enough people complain and given more random events are going to happen (border control, potential 5 games per week for a period, other cover flare ups) they may just call it off.

At the start of the season we all knew things could change, could be a shorter season and maybe we should load up on mid pricers as you will not get the cash generation as past periods. When the game changed to 17 games post round 1, this was borne out. Maybe no one saw one game being eliminated, however, we all considered a team could get infections and lose some players. This is similar and part of our strategy may need to include diversification of players across teams.

Just the same as a player injured during a game feels unfair when you have a bench player scoring 80, no one has inside information on anything happening before it does. Yes, it is a testing season and we need to keep adjusting our strategies as we go along.

I mean, who didn't think West Coast would put some attention into Lachie Neale, why as a non owner am I being punished so much by stupid coaching. Whether mine for Neale to Bont or Adam Simpson for not locking Neale down when Zorko is not in the side! Now he has Adelaide.

Bugger complaining to CD, I want to complain to Gil and get the season cancelled. I thought having football back would bring normality to my life. LOL

That would seem right to me

we don't even have a fixture past Round 5 yet ?

could be a stand alone game played midweek , could be part of a "shortened" round if the other hubs are introduced with byes , could be anything

just need to wait 24-48 hours for all the tests to come back and the AFL make a announcement

I am one of those "disadvantaged" but I would rather cop it once and say good luck to those without too many Melb/Ess players than get disadvantaged twice. But it will be whatever it will be I suppose so time to move on.

CMO is saying that all people in close contact with McKenna would need to self-isolate, which to me suggests a sizeable chunk of the playing list MAY be unavailable for 2 weeks.
To me, the most sensible thing would be to suspend the season for 2 weeks rather than further compromising the integrity of the comp. This is part of why the season was reduced to 17 rounds and has a floating end date.

The game can be played anytime they like. Just the scores from a SC point should not count.

Agree, think they should just move the entire comp to WA where they are covid free. cannot trust anyone in Vic, too many cases and exposure risk, cold weather doesn't help.

I feel like the priest in Caddyshack! I’m in the middle of my “best round ever” and I’m determined to keep playing through the storm which is raging around me... But I am a bit worried that I’ll get struck by lightning and Bill Murray will just run away and leave me dead on the green ??
