Need a huge quarter from Cogs here - 10+ touches, a few clearances, a goal would be nice and GWS making the game close would be handy.

Edit: Wouldn't killa ya to lay a tackle or two either mate... Just sayin'...

Yeah I take your point on Townsend, but given his output last week the quick extra cash Pitt makes over him may be to hard to resist in the short term.
all good, brought Pittonet in for Brodie Smith. releases some cash for next week, if there is an opportunity to do an upgrade.

Yeah Herb, Rick Davies from our area here on YP, big unit, legend of SA football.
Superstar of the SANFL.

Amazing to think he was only 6'2 as a ruckman.

Kicked 150+ in a season as well.

1 season at Hawthorn , didn't realise he had 2 seasons with South Adelaide as well.

70's and 80's certainly was a great era for SANFL

I'm around your age, so I remember all the 70s and 80s players, good times!

The standard was as good as the VFL , then they all started leaving mid 80's probably.

Used to listen on the radio then when old enough , watch a VFL game on Saturday then a SANFL game

Really unsure which way to go for my other trade already done Cavarra to Sturt, $96,000 ITB 20200620_091301.jpg 20200620_091211.jpg

Townsend to Pittonet ignoring Jacobs E get probably the best cash cow this week?

Mahoney to Bennell?

BZT to Rivers/Hill?

Clear some dead wood or get best cow?

Thoughts appreciated ?

Personally I think that getting your cows sorted is always top priority at this time of year. Dead wood you can get rid of at any time. The only reason not to go Pittonet in my view is if you were quite bullish on Townsend.

Might even be worth checking Sauce and Pittonet’s ruck draws to see if you can rotate them through R2. I gather suave has had one good score and two poor games.

Edit: I think you can go late on Bennell if needed, and I would be reluctant to go early on Hill.

Ended up pulling the trigger on DMac to Howe via Brander, gives me more $$, allows me to use Fort to loop Taylor (E) and I feel Budarick will at least get close to DMac in points as he has been underwhelming. Could backfire but we'll see..

Ended up moving Jelly on in a bit of a panic but was very unprepared so grabbed Danger without doing any forward planing or calculations. In hindsight I should’ve grabbed someone a touch cheaper to allow me to get Pittonet for BZT this week if required.

It shouldn’t cause me too much grief but will wait to see what Cameron and Noble score before I decide who I bring in out of Pittonet/Sturt (with a view to grab the other next week).

Any Port fans have an opinion on Mitchell Georgiades? Any chance he will be coming back in the team anytime soon?
I’m trying to decide if I should trade Georgiades or my loophole Xerri

Looking for some advice re second trade. First trade Cavarra to Sturt leaving $144,600 in the bank.

Contemplating four options, one of which involves some self-imposed (short term) carnage on my team:

1. Sell BZT and purchase Pittonet through DPP magic. Pittonet at R3 with Grawndy. Needs to be done before NM game shortly. 97k in bank.
2. Sell BZT and purchase Bennell through DPP. Bennell on bench this week. 210k in bank.
3. Sell Houston and purchase either Howe/Rozee/Petracca (thru DPP). Approx 120-140k in bank.
4. Short term carnage option - sell Grundy (I know!) and buy Pittonet (to field at R2 with Gawn). Got caught last year with O'Brien on the bench for several weeks and it killed my season. Have Ceglar/Combden combo to loop Ceglar into rucks and bench Pittonet if necessary. Also have Neale / Gawn as two viable VC/C options. Also gives me 625k in the bank to start upgrades on some of Doedee/Noble/Long/Bewley (all still got a bit of cash to make except possibly Doedee) in the next couple of weeks. Almost enough to upgrade three of them to three keepers in DEF/FWD over the next couple of weeks. This is the sort of trade that defines a season - one way or the other.

Really appreciate any thoughts - or other suggestions.

I too would like to know. Unsure whether to trade Georgiadis > Sturt or pass.

Pulled the trigger on Doedee > Pittonet and M.Hibberd > Sturt. Happy now that I've done them even though I agonised over it the past two days.
