Good thought. Current R3 is Comben, otherwise I'd be all over doing it that way.
Trading Cumming to Williams doesn't get me much, effectively just another DEF donut, as I already have a floating RUC donut.
scrap that idea then

Noble was on the chopping block until Houston/Smith played. Think the latter go now assuming Noble survives as you suggest Rowsus.

BSmith will become Pittonett this week.

If Darcy Cameron holds his spot then Cavarra will likely depart for him.

If not, then Houston will become Howe. Ideally would prefer to go Neale however don't have a DPP to get him there.

I figured Doedee's 82 average in his first season should mean he's a reasonably safe option. Surely he can't be that bad every week.
Maybe not...it is the crows form and the uncertainty around what the team will dish up that worries me along with what his role will be in the team which seems up in the air. He may do Ok but I don't have my hopes up on him being a good pick. He may still be in my team next week that said but I certainly haven't ruled out trading him

I'm feeling pretty nervous about Ceglar after only buying last week.

Feel like there's a chance Hawthorn move forward with just one of Ceglar/McEvoy from here.

Surely McEvoy is the better ruck? He's looked glacially slow down back IMO.
I know a lot of people on the BF forums were saying he should be dropped. I think he was alright, he did give a few hitouts straight to an opponent, but the whole midfield was awful, not just Ceglar.

Not sure the Hawks need two rucks against Richmond, and there are a lot of tall defenders in the team. Dropping one of Ceglar/McEvoy might not be the worst idea for this week. Need a few other changes soon too based on Friday's effort...

BZT to Bennell via Rivers seems an easy move.
Cavarra the other out.

Decision then comes down to Pittonet vs Cameron. Have Grundy/Gawn so Pittonet would be just sitting at R3.

The cash itb could allow me the option to sideways Macrae/Bont in round 4 if necessary. Does Pittonet earn enough extra cash over Cameron to make him worth the extra outlay?

Cumming to Harley B (via Rivers to Def)
Noble to Maynard

No need nor want for Pittonet

Time to ditch the mid 200k busts

I tend to give Macrae another week (Hoping Devo comes to his senses)
If not this is what I would do:
Noble/Cumming > Ridley
Macrae >Rozee/Petracca (via Dusty)

Feels like trading Grundy out would be beyond absurd though.
Pittonet, Sturt and Cameron look to be 3 of the best rookies this year in terms of making money and DPP swing with Cameron so if all named I'll have to grab 2 of them
Didn’t you just trade Grundy in? I think you should keep Grundy as the midfielders are less reliable as C options this season.

Sure did. That's partly why I couldn't do it. If Naismith is back I'll have to pass on Pittonet.
What's your ruck situation? You have Grundy and Gawn yeah? Are you looking at Pittonet for R3?

Yeah that's more my issue, we're too tall down back, Frawley, Frost, McEvoy is one too many.
Main reason I didn't start with Ceglar is I don't think the McEvoy down back experiment will last the year.

Yeah I have Grawndy. I traded Naismith to Gawn last round and do intend to trade in Pittonet at R3 (pivoting BWilliams into defence).

Naismith to Pittonet looks a bit ugly but given Naismith might be out for 1-2 more weeks and in that time Pittonet could generate 130k with 100s, I’d do that trade.

Excerpt from above article:
And how did Stephen Hill look out there?
Stephen was great, he patrolled across the half-back line. He had great composure with ball in hand and didn’t look like he was holding back at all. He gave himself every chance to be ready to go in round three.
