Butters has to go, best case he's out 8 weeks. Just grab Waterman and bank the cash for next week and you can get a week ahead on upgrade schedule with a few good options on each line ready to go.
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking, Butters to Waterman and Kosi to CJ this week, hoping for CJ to be a D6 keeper. Next week Clark to Jones and Daniel up to Ridley. Good moves?

I suspect most are willing to wait and see what his role is / how he scores after a round 1 score of 92 and BE of 152.

Having said that, did I see that he was in less than 1% of the top 5,000 teams?? If so, it's not a bad roll of the dice POD. Playing at Kardinia v the Roos certainly provides the opportunity
Yeah thinking outside the box, if I follow the masses with popular trade ins than you make little ground so might be a little left of centre.

I was thinking the same with 2 of my midfield rookies, getting 2 average 85+ players rather than 1 up 1 down. Maybe considering Parish who will also suit my bye structure r.14 and Brad Crouch. Any thoughts on these 2 players?
Two 85 players? Neale and Cripps?

Think it is too early to go 85 players. Crouch also has mixed injury history.

have read a few things such as 4-6 depending on how recovery goes but prob right. Just not this week.
been reading more and Daniel needs to go as he isn’t going to average 95+ from here and settled on
Degoey - waterman
Daniels - bowes (almost thinking CJ for extra cash)

Leaves me 450k (550k with CJ) for protetinal double next upweek (Oliver and maybe dunk let)

Kosi quite likely to be back this week. I'd prefer to target an Atkins/Hind/Impey in the forwards if you don't have them over CJ if attacking that price point with that aimed outcome. Reckon the cutoff for F5-6 is going to be ~95 dropping towards 90 if you're paying what those guys cost right now, while the defender one is looking like 105ish. Depends on what you're replacing on field obviously but the forward rookies are looking pretty ordinary right now outside Warner who quite likely has the Rowbottom issue to address this round and could also be dropping off quickly.

3 is really a trade on all but the super premium types, 4 onward is a must trade for almost anyone (really strong rookie coverage the only real exception).

Realistically those 6 odd injury trades are worth say 110 in round 20-23 replacing a donut. 3 weeks of losing 50 points puts you well behind that and obviously gets out of control beyond that.

Love reading trade scenarios from Essendon supporters bringing in Essendon players, do it. 😜 I'm trying to avoid Blues.
This post was what I needed in the preseason ;) I'm sitting here leaning towards bringing in a Bomber while having already traded out one of the way too many Blues players I started with!

Bowes instead of CJ? Have Impey already, not sold on Atkins, like the look of Hind but not sure about the ceiling, would prefer to sure up my defence as that’s were the points seem to be at the moment. Will target Danger and Dusty in the forwards over the coming weeks.

Take the one you think is a keeper. At either of their price points it's the only viable reason to be picking them. I like Bowes more, fwiw but you need to see a 105 average as being likely.

Outside Ridley and Merrett, it’s only rookies for me. No one else consistent enough.
i was restraining myself from picking Stringer, overweight, injury prone, lost 7kg, appears to be over injuries after 2 games. Great role, missed out on Tex, could he do similar? Not slotting goals like Tex, but scoring wise 100's

Who's the better option to replace Jelly? I have Macrae.

Steele $654k b/e 101 vs Oliver $612k b/e 161?

Yeah he is looking good. I have considered it. Quite a few CBA’s too. Don’t think I can at this point.

Cheers for the advice, I think Bowes is a keeper with the amount time the ball will spend in the GC defensive end and his teammates willingness to get it into his hands. Is playing the role Daniel was meant to be 🤦‍♂️

Both should average similar for mine which means take the cheaper one... but Steele the lower BE is also a case if you think you can take advantage of getting Oliver cheaper and believe, like I do, that both are must haves.

Do have a feeling Steele is going to get a tag soon, too important and too good to not see how he handles it.

Daniels to Ridley in a heartbeat. If you don't bring Ridley in now do you wait until the byes Rd 14?
The scary thing about Ridley is that he pumped out 120+ against the Swans pressure. Sure the Heeney injury helped, he was probably on track for more a 90pt game at HT.

However in many other games he'll be able to do more or less whatever he likes. He already has a virtual monopoly on kick-in duties and scores in nearly every way a player can score points in fantasy bar direct goal kicking.

I'm paying up to get him in my RDT side this week where thankfully his price isn't getting too ridiculous just yet. Unfortunately it will probably be a while before I can get to him in AF so will just have to hope he doesn't hurt me too badly in the interim.

However he's probably as close as you get to a must have in Supercoach right now. I'm relieved I at least got him in before the price changes in SC although starting him would've obviously been even better. :sneaky:

May to Jiath
Brockman to Chapman

Holding Kelly and Daniel and not thinking even considering trading them. Really regret trading Fyfe a few weeks ago (For Brayshaw) and thats the last premium I will be trading (excluding injury)
