Trades Made: Out: Petracca/Graham, In: Danger, ZGL
Trades Planned: Unsure but may or may not involve Billings.
Comments: Horrible week. Went early on Danger hoping to gain some places overall with all the carnage but could not get anything going at all and managed to go backwards instead.

Billings down to 400k is an even bigger problem than he already was!

Trades Made: Out: Hibberd/Ryan In: Taranto/Cox
Trades Planned: JPK in and possibly Billings out
Comments: Great to be in the top 1000! Hopeful sideways of Hibberd to Taranto proves best in the long term as broke even this week. Still not sure what I was thinking with bringing Cox in for Ryan but wanted English forward and thought he looked good Anzac Day and in first half today.

Lycett and Treloar did it again for me and I’ve really nailed the mids this year with 6 of the top 7 scoring mids so far. Hoping JPK adds to that strength whilst I await Kelly to Danger.

Trades Made: Out: Fritsch/Banfield, In: Mirra, Guelfi
Trades Planned: Holman to Dangerfield. Naughton/Coffield to maybe Mutch to fund it
Comments: Luck ran out this week. Copped a few poor rookie scores and Billings, Parker. Played it safe with Titch VC instead of Gawn. Happy enough that the damage was limited to dropping ~170 spots. Will hope to build from here. Fritsch out instead of Holman was a mistake that'll really hurt in the long run. About $100k cash gen gone begging for me. These things add up. Will hope I get it right next time. Next round can't come quick enough.

My first time this year doing one of these:

Score: 2181
Weekly Rank: 11503
Overall Rank: 21st from 15th
Points Behind Leader: 186
Heroes: The (v) on Cripps
Villains: The onfield rooks, Coffield, Holman, English
Trades Made: Garlett to Guelfi, Naughton to Mirra

Trades Planned: Banfield up to someone, haven't decided. Over the next few rounds it will probably be one up and one down given there are some good mids coming into range and some good debuts this round.

Comments: Probably should have kept Naughton, I was really in two minds about getting rid of him given he's been semi-reliable and still has some upside. I will be surprised if a Coffield is playing in the ones next week, on the other hand I have a couple of Crow rooks on the bench that may get a look in due to their injuries against the Suns.

Overall Rank: 1,106 (From 1,212)
Points behind leader: 493

Heroes: Gawn, Cripps, Titch, Lycett, Savage, D Smith, T Kelly
Villains: Billings, Fogarty & Holman who gave me a total of 130 points on field between them.

Trades made: Garlett to ZGL!!
Trades planned: Not sure yet, but it might be Danger time using two rookies who have BE creeping up. Still have 27 trades left and $350k.

Comments: Have to be happy not to lose ground after fielding 8 rookies due to Petracca & Sicily out. Lycett is starting to really pay off, getting me over the line in a couple of match ups, but I know a low score is coming if I don’t upgrade him soon. Was going to use second trade to do Fritsch to Guelfi, but decided to sit tight after seeing other carnage during the weekend, which made me think saved trades might be like gold later - I was lucky it paid off, kick starting Fritsch cash generation again. Big week of decisions ahead.

Comments: Big drop down the rankings as expected and probably too far back to achieve anything meaningful yet again this season. When teams dropped on Thursday night, I expected a tough week with Trac/Sicily missing. What I did not expect was for ZGL to get injured (again), Billings to post his lowest score of the season and Holman to revert back to his absolute worst. Disappointed.

Overall Rank: 303 (from 638)
Heroes: Lycett, Cripps, Mitchell (C), Mclean, Naughton, Fritsch, R. Grays efforts with a hard tag, Lloyd and Heeney's last quarters
Villains: Sicily & Petracca for forcing me to play Naughton and Guelfi, Holman, Oliver
Trades Made: Banfield/Garlett - Higgins/Guelfi
Trades Planned: Murray - Dangerfield

Comments: Really wasn't looking forward to this week but managed to get through it and gain a few ranks. Taking Naughton over Cole and swapping Fritsch for Higgins gained me 30 odd points. Was tossing up all day Friday whether to get Mirra or Higgins and whether to trade Naughton or Banfield. Ended up choosing Higgins for his dpp and higher score in his price cycle. Choose to keep Naughton cos i could use him as a Friday night loophole and Banfield had a tougher opposition. Both moves worked out well for this week at least. Gray and Mclean as sideways trades continue to pay off, Merrett - Oliver 4 weeks ago has netted me less than 10 points. Bit disappointing but cant win them all I guess.

Got 390k in the bank before trades this week and already have Cole. Will likely just do the one trade of Danger in. Will be looking to make 2 downgrades next week probably Henry/Holman - Spargo/Worpel even though i would prefer to keep Holman for the byes. Week after that will be looking to upgrade Lycett/Naughton - Simpson/Grundy. Of course these trades will never eventuate cos someone always gets injured or dropped. Was that close to trading Lycett to S.Martin after rd 1. Luckily decided to sit tight and now he's turned into one of my best starting picks and not getting Martin will hopefully allow me to get Grundy at R2.

Great week by SCSBotB. Moved from 8th overall into 4th.

Comments: Fairly good round, which could have been better with Fritz score on feild. Went with ZGL's 60. Sat on my hands with trades, but time to makes some moves this week I think. Well done to all the SCS leagues in the top 10-20. SCS02 is a very tough league, sitting at 2nd at the moment.

Team at the conclusion of Round 6:

Score: 1990
Weekly Rank: 77,290
Overall Rank: 51,581 (46155 )
Points Behind Leader: 1361 (current leader 14,026)
Heroes: Gawn (C), Mitchell, Fyfe, Kelly Smith, Fritsch, Waterman, Doedee
Villains: Zorko, Holman, Billings, Poholke
Trades Made: Garlett to Guelfi and Brayshaw to Yeo
Trades Planned: Probably one up, one down. Uncertain as to the exact parameters.
Trades Left: 26

Trades: 5/10. Garlett to Guelfi was just about a must-trade to even field 22 players, missing Josh Kelly, James Sicily and Christian Petracca. The other trade was between trading out Brayshaw and Waterman, and just because I didn't fancy grabbing a forward like Heeney at $550k, I decided to bring Yeo in down back. In the end, Waterman outscored Brayshaw by about 20 points, which was quite nice.

Defence: 3.5/10. No tonnes, but no absolutely dreadful scores, aside from Coffield's 24 on the bench, stymieing his cash generation.

Midfield: 1.5/10: Aside from Fyfe, Mitchell and Tim Kelly, the rest of the midfield failed to perform. Hugely disappointed in Dayne Zorko, who continues to hoard the juicy points that would be so helpful to me. Holman was down again, and Finlayson, switching into the midfield, didn't reach his high standards this week.

Rucks: 5/10.

I'm not mad at Naitanui, depite the 70, because he got it in about half the game. Maxy Gawn was majestic, and switching the C from Fyfe over to him on Sunday Morning was the best decision I've made all year.

Forwards: 3.5/10

Smith came good with 109. Fritsch and Waterman delivered when I needed them to, but taking a gamble on Poholke looks like it was a grievous error, as the Crow could only manage a paltry 18 points, the lowest score of my season so far.

Overall: 3.5/10

I've given up all hope. Now the target is trying to avoid a six figure finish. The team is in absolute free-fall, and blame should be squarely laid at the feet of the coach who has recruited terribly. The only hope of turning the ship around is the influx of new blood, but they cannot do it alone - the dreadful and the injured have to also come out swinging if any headway is to be made.

Villains: Billings, English, Coffield, Simpson, Lambert
Trades Made: Holman/Venables > Guelfi/Simpson
Trades Planned: Not sure where to go from here, have a list of ideal players I want to bring in, so will work off who is most gettable this round

Comments: Awesome week only soured by 16 lost points with forgetting to loophole Naughton via Murphy->Murray. Treloar and Taranto from the start of the year I’m loving and Petrecca up to the mid bench (via Brayshaw to Guelfi) and then to Merrett (M7) after Holman’s 33 (as emergency) proved to be a master stroke.

Villains: Bonner, Holman, Sicily, Petracca, Billings, Dunkley
Trades Made: O'Connor -> Mirra
Trades Planned: Looks like the MP experiment is over, Bonner and Dunkley need to go. Holman has a B/E of 35 so he will probably just go to the bench. Probably Bonner to Cole and Dunkley to Merrett. Danger was the plan, but I think he can wait another week as he has a B/E of 150 again
Comments: Tough week, Bonner, Billings and Dunkley the main culprits, but too many so-so scores accross the board, Murray, Finalyson, Holman all pretty close to trading.

Comments: Wow what a cluster***K of a week starting with Sicily and Petracca out. Talk about screaming back to earth with a crashing halt. The only solace was I had a busy weekend so I couldn't watch the carnage unfold too closely. Dusty captain and Walters injured on Sunday just topped off a very ordinary weekend. I will dust myself off and remember that I ranked 409 the week before so anything can happen in this game.

Comments: Very happy with my score this week which puts me into the top 100 for my first time ever! Feeling pretty smug about my decision to trade CEY in round 3 after Adelaide lost a few mids and pushing Holman to the bench despite him scoring very well first 2 rounds. I've netted 124 points and he is set to make around $200k and be a great stepping stone. Traded Taranto in that round as well which has also turned out very well.
