Selwood just made a point of raising Simpson in discussion with the channel 7 team. Has apparently been knocking on the door for selection for weeks. Can’t hurt having the captain on side.

While some say Geelong give their Rookies a decent run, let's not forget Constable from last season. Was averaging 20+ Disp and over 80 SC, and just disappeared. Still, Simpson really looked good tonight. If he plays like that, you'd think others would go before him.

Exactly. Geelong can be a little bit mixed I reckon. I still don’t know what they are doing with their rucks for example, but they don’t seem worried about it.

I wanted to get rid of Starcevich this week but couldn't do it with a 1 down 1 up. If I had seen Simpson before Starcevich played then I would have changed to a 2 up and got rid of him.
So next week I will use Starcevich and McInerney to get Simpson and ?.
I still have Pittonet and Naismith waiting for the right time to bring in Gawn. I'm sitting on way too much cash but the timing hasn't been right to use it.

We’ve obviously only had one game so far but Simpson just about has to be a lock. I work with his Mum so will try and get the inside word if it’s ever needed.

Danger looks like he has really hit his straps and this could be the last time this season that he’s less than 600k.

He can back it up. He just won't do it as consistently as Uber Prem years previous.

still planning for Yeo but with a combination of Starcevich/Rivers , Noble & Brander (need at least 1 playing each week) that could be a priority.

Bloody Danger, traded in sideways from Bont before round 2 because of the run of games at GMHBA weird that his only "real" Danger games have come at the MCG and SCG
