skipped on Simpson for no other reason than I am indecisive!

Have Fyfe and Ceglar to deal with too...so that has clouded my thinking somewhat

No Simpson for me either. Now I'm thinking Fyfe and Rowell to mid premium (Tim Kelly?) and Rankine.

I couldn't justify taking another premium off the field just to get Simpson.

Yep, this change has taken place. Cox will stay, Starcevich will stay. Will comfortably be able to do next weeks trades.

With byes back on the agenda with enough warm bodies you might be able to keep Cameron and sideways trade a premium instead to get an extra premium score rather than an extra rookie score (ignoring rookie cash generation).

Actually been thinking a bit more about this , I probably need him to average at least 90+ for the season to be a viable season long F6.

With out even knowing the long term fixture don't even know if he can cover Grundy & Pittonet in the ruck if needed by swinging with Cameron.

Will need to think about it some more.

I'd nearly cop the donut. Or trade in McPherson instead of Day.

Scrimshaw unexpectedly back in the Hawks squad, so could either play this week or be around the mark.
Impey likely to be back within the next couple.
I'd personally love to see us keep playing Day, but think the JS concerns are there.

So far I’ve done Rivers to Simpson. Unsure about my second trade but it will most likely be Brander to Rankine. If Starcevich scores a 30 I may bring in a defender to avoid his score.

Tom Green to Simpson done, looking alright so far. Second trade will be Pittonet (R3) to Rankine via Xerri.

Difficult to be objective when you're hoping that he pans out for you, but Simpson was ok on the whole and the unfortunate injuries shouldn't harm his chances of staying in the side in the short term.

Sorry mate, just saw this now.

Let Simpson slide, was all over him to begin with but then wasn’t convinced on his JS which now looks quite solid with Selwood and Clark added to the injury list.

Rankine coming in this week.

Hoping that one of this week’s debutants shows enough to warrant selection next week. Cahill would be perfect.

Remember looking at this earlier on the year and I think I arrived at something like an 85-90 average with a bonus of around 5 pts due to the potential ruck cover (assumed 50 for the rookie brought on in fwds vs the donut in the ruck line you would otherwise incur, 2 games of cover).
Seems unlikely to do it, but maybe there really was a strong impact of the toe.

Yeah I am not sure now , so many other forward options (I also have TJL) so could get stuck with very bad F5 & F6.

Plus I am ending up with too many F/M in my mids that I need to move to my forward line..

Might be better to try and find a cheaper mid who can average 95-100.

No good trying to second guess the fixture and byes.

With Heeney & Sloane out long term I really need to sort them out first though.

If Ceglar played or he is out only 1-2 then maybe I can reassess.
