Feel like the more advice I get the better. I actually was a part of the first supercoach scores league, back when there was only one! Feels good to finally be ranked alright.

Designated Area: $141,900 salary cap
Def: Lloyd, Docherty, Sicily, Doedee, Ridley & Starcevich (Brander, Rivers)
Mid: Neale, Danger, Bont, Cripps, Menegola, McGrath, Dev Smith, Pickett (McInerney, Brown, Bennell)
Ruck: Grundy, Pittonet, (Conroy)
Fwd: Walters, Simpkin, Petracca, Whitfield, Taylor, King (Sturt, Aarts)

The two week price increase hey... could’ve been dudded with Aarts. 18 trades remaining, I was planning to trade:

Out: Starcevich, Taylor
In: Day, Rankine

Those two trades would leave me $418,400 for either a double upgrade, or Gawn and maybe a Smith upgrade from Devon to Bailey. Leaves me quite thin on defensive cover, with zero! However as I’ve mentioned on here I’ve been risky so far and gotta risk it for the biscuit! Appreciate everyone/ anyone’s thoughts cheers!

I watched the game and he was impressive, good attack on the footy off half-back and made good decisions with ball in hand.

Scrimshaw to come back as early as this week though but based on Fri night, would be surprised if he makes way.
He played really well. Laid a great tackle. I wish I had gone early on Rankine so I could take Simspon and Day.
Thanks!

It seems the 2nd price rise is the biggest, so perhaps it’s ok to go Day and Simpson/Rankine and pick the other one up a week later.

Ok, I'm confused how SC works.
Rankin, FWD Cost: $123,900 Score 111 BE -62 Projected Score 111 $76.9K increase.
Simpson, Mid Cost: $123,900 Score 112 BE -63 Projected Score 49 $49.7K increase.
So with the same starting price, and the same score and same BE, there are wildly different projections and potential price increases.

Projected scores mate. Rankine has played one game so his projected is his average. Simpson played a few already last year.

Taylor to Rankine seems a no brainer. I would consider using the 2nd trade to upgrade someone with the most likely being Starc to any defender (Houston will still leave you 100K in the bank if you wanted to back him in)

Funny as that was my original other trade! However not owning Gawn scares me and it allows me to get him the week after. Maybe a set and forget defensive line out weighs Gawn. Thanks for the reply, it’s one ive got to weigh up for sure.

Its Rookie roulette this week. Who to choose?

Rankin, FWD $76.9K increase.
Day, DEF $54.7K increase.
Simpson, Mid $49.7K increase.
McPherson, DEF $45.7K increase.

Spoilt for choice.

I think Rankin is number one and the other will depend on teams dropping. If I do 4 downgrades over the next two weeks I will have over a million in the bank to go shopping with.
I'm not 100% on Simpson and Day. One or two quieter games will be enough for Scott and Clarkson to dump them.

Is Heeney a confirmed out?
Judging by Longmire's comments after the game, I think it's safe to say Heeney won't be playing this week.

"The Swans were then hit with another blow when star forward Isaac Heeney hobbled off with an ankle injury late in the match, which Longmire also labelled "pretty bad".

Heeney's injury is still being assessed and its severity is not yet known."
