Round 14 bye rookie isn't bad, you can upgrade him to a premium that has already had their bye.
Yep. I reckon R14 bye rookies are ideal in the next 2 - 3 weeks as they should be peaking around R14. Wondering if I might even be able to hold McCreery until R14 along with the more obvious hold in Warner.

I'm not sure about Murphy (Coll) scoring ability and cash generation potential. JS seems ok but who actually knows with Buckley?

2k short of Chapman > Parks; Gulden > Brayshaw. Might have to go Chapman > Murray, or not go Brayshaw at all - he makes me nervous.

Backline rookies are bloody chaos this year.
Jones, Highmore, Sharp, Chapman, now Freddy, no one can string enough games together. Even Clark has been in and out.

Will have to hope Murphy keeps his spot and go with him, or hope Ryan gets named so I don't have to gamble on another iffy rookie. Going Ryan and not Mills when I had the chance is a real hindsight is 20:20 decision

We all should have just paid up for Butts & Cox

Buckley , Lachie Young & Idun have all been pretty good so far.

I like the outside the box thinking.

What led to the spike score? @GrainFedBeef @Lost In The Sky @Rumbler any ideas guys? I noticed he was getting about 5 touches a game until last week where he got 21. Role change or just an outlier?
Think he was pushing into the middle a little more last week than usual, but he was also more damaging with most possessions too, add to that a couple of goals and it leads to a nice score.

Definitely an outlier, don't expect that every week.

Not a player I'm considering, however there is some potential there for some more midfield minutes going forward with Duggan out. Expect a handful of players to push into the midfield as various times to pick up the slack, with Foley a similar type player who can slot straight in.

Awesome, thanks so much for the response LITS. I might pass on that one for now.

Let's hope for a Foley debut!

Didnt notice him in the parts of the game I watched. There was talk of him getting some mid time early in season. Always hard one game and over $200k price tag.

Think I will pass on Murphy. IF Highmore gets picked, chance I will trade him in due to scoring potential

Chapman > Parks

This leaves me with 361k, Campbell, Rowe, Gulden, and Berry the options to trade but leaning towards trading the nonplaying as I would prefer warm bodies and lose small money.

Campbel gives me 597,100 for a defender (Already have Ridley, Doc, Laird and Daniel)

Cheers mate. Getting desperate with Freddy dropped. Just looking for alternatives to Murphy who is the boring pick but I don't love it.

I just noticed I've got the cash to go Cox to May and Rowe to Hall.

The Hall pick comes with obvious risk but I'm more concerned about having all of JZ, Atkins, Impey and Hall on the same line in the first bye... I reckon that's way too much compromise in round 12. I guess I could take the $ increase from Atkins and Hall and cash out whichever one looks the least likely to be a keeper by that stage. Thoughts on this?

You've had a big week BS and done plenty of leg work! Looking forward to seeing which way you finally jump with your trades this week! Hope it turns out well for you mate!
Thanks heaps mate! Just throwing stuff at the wall until something sticks. I've put a lot of hours in. In fact, way too many :ROFLMAO: I'd hate to see myself in the top 10. I hope your trades go well too!

Flynn to RCD
Gulden to Josh Kelly

I'll see how the teams drop tonight before pulling the trigger.
Both of those trades would be next week for me. Kelly had wing time in last two weeks with varying scoring.

Taranto went big as well, if it is an outlier then we will know in a week. Except they play Bombers who also give up big scores!

haha while it's easy for me to say, as I am not ranked where you are, you've obviously been doing something right up to this point, I dont think you need to get too creative with your trades at this point in time, try and play with a fairly straight bat and just continue to improve your team.

I would probably suggest steering clear of players like Aaron Hall at this stage. While it may turn out to be a glory trade that rockets you up the rankings, it is just as likley (probably more so) to result in a wasted trade.
