showdown this week.... 100SC plus or GTFO my team Orazio!
I am trading him this round to Stringer 😀

Thought he might have got more ball with Butters & Duursma out but nope he continues to be on the outskirts of the action , arrives a second or 2 late and keeps wanting to tap it on instead of grabbing it , think he might be a bit afraid of the physical contact personally.

Wouldn't surprise me if they dropped him for Farrell.

Do you know what happened to Cook & Pedlar , watched the SANFL game Saturday and I am positive I didn't hear their names mentioned once.

EDIT Pedlar missed with groin soreness

dow over impey......who would do that you say? this guy
Dow over Powell...

Basically of all the guys with a premium this year that I really liked the only one I actually picked was Dow. No Powell, Butts, Cox, Cumming, Impey, Daniher, Jiath, Atkins or Hind... On a positive I corrected 3 of those.

All of this so I could wedge a Cripps shaped failure into my midfield, what exceptional decision making

Absolutely also did this. I actually made money off him though!

...about ten grand, but still, it was the difference between me getting Ridley or not!

...who then proceeded to put up an injury game and a donut... and now everyone's gonna get him 100k cheaper than I did. Oh well, can't be helped now!

Depends on your setup/strategy. Which mid pricies are you considering?

I'm coming around on Frederick, but he'll be my D7 when Ryan returns so I'm not as exposed as some other teams if he's out/subbed in coming weeks. He is quite a gift horse if he plays the next 3 weeks, just too hard to pass up this season with the lack of quality cash cows. I'll be watching selections carefully this Friday evening though. One thing is if I pick Frederick it means I have to give up on Thilthorpe for this week at least. I really like Thilthorpe not only because of his JS but he also means I can trade out Flynn with one trade as I don't have a FWD/RUC like Fullarton currently.

Yeah fair enough, i would like to do that but i have managed to lose almost all of my bench due to late trade thanks to injuries so now im looking to fix my field.

Although i could fix one of my bench players if i pick the right one? Campell? Which means im stuck with Gulden for another week

Without knowing your team I would just look to a. field a full team this week b. look at team selections Friday night and get Frederick in if at all possible if he's selected/announced as not-the-sub Saturday c. cut the current rookie you have who is projected to lose the most cash.

If you have DPP the option for me would be to get rid of Gulden for Frederick: Gulden has a high BE and has been seemingly worked out by opposing defenses - he's also made the most cash. He looks a quality player with excellent football sense but he just doesn't seem to me to have the physical capability to match those early scores he had this season when he was let off the hook by opponents (ie, he's pretty small and not that quick).

Not hearing any chatter about Ryan Byrnes, got picked off the back of some strong performances in the Magoos (don't know where to access his numbers) Debut game had 8 kicks, 10 HB, 9 marks, 1 tackle, 2 CP, 2CL, 1 CG @72% for 75DT, 52SC.

What am I not hearing?

I think the worry would be Dan McKenzie to come back in, obviously he had the suspension last week and now some sort of calf issue this week that won’t see him return. However, I know for a fact that Ratten had told McKenzie he would walk straight back in after his suspension, so I suspect once he’s right to go again he comes back in.

So yeah, I think for Byrnes it’s a JS issue, he’s unfortunately that first mid/small to go out of that Saints side it would appear.
