Nah I wouldn't have thought so cos there'd only be a couple of rookies at the most that you could pick ahead of others...then those other teams would just bring them in before price increases anyway.

Fair effort though, you're not far behind me and I had a really good start to the year!

Looks like a bit of carnage as I look at the teams. Rojas, isaias and Holman all out. Austin also out. Think I'll hold isaias and trade Holman.

Looking forward to tonight's game. Reckon city might get 'em!

Fornaroli with a brace...only problem is...he also missed 2 penalties!

Oh what could've been for those that captained him.

On a side note, I think that Sydney FC team is going to have another cracker round, top of the A League and top of the RDT:p

Haha I follow how my teams going but rarely put too much thought into trades. Since Sydney has trolled the whole comp, it's made fantasy far less appealing as I've got hardly any Sydney players..and I don't really see any use bringing them all in.

For those still playing...

The postponed match between Phoenix and Victory in Rd7 will be played in Rd15. If you own players from either team, it's akin to having a DG player for the round!

Also the Eliminator rounds starts in a couple of weeks, worth the while to at least have a stab at that since you already have a team.:p

Good call! $500 prize, I need to get Rojas in quickly. It's like not having Dangerfield!

You'd want a spine of Vukovic-Grant-Ninkovic-Rojas to build your team around...I'm currently missing Ninkovic.

Yes, sort of. Was ranked 29th for the last round with a score of 131 so things going along ok. Since joining the comp in round 3, my ranking has kept quietly moving along to now be 289th. Only 75 points behind 100th spot which was my aim when I started. Ha Ve only given up about 70 points to the leader since round 3.

Have a forward line of Rojas, Berisha and Fornaroli who have been doing well for me using them as a captains choice most weeks. Also have Ninkovic and Kristensen in mids so am aiming to give the eliminator a good crack.

Wow! Huge effort, funny how easy it was for you to catch up starting in Rnd 3!

There's only two things I can put it down to, the first is I was able to set my initial side with the best value players before prices went up as well as having a couple of trades headstart on most, and the fact that this comp gets locked out at the start of the round so it is pretty much set and forget and I can't tinker and make silly moves during the round. You have to go with gut feel on your captain as well.
