Okay, thanks - I hadn’t seen the Melbourne team come through, admittedly I’m 30 pages behind the main thread!

Hollands was my MID E anyway, albeit I anticipate that Powell will come on as first emergency.

With two defence donuts, I suspect it won’t influence the result this week!

2. We carry over your team from round to round, on the priviso that you select a team (INs & OUTs named) by the commencement of the Friday Night game. Non selection will result in a blank team list for the next round.

It is unprecedented that a team has not named a team for a round.

We did not develop a rule for such a scenario. As full participation was a given.

Unfortunately, it has a significiant affect to the competiton given the percentage advantage the team's opponent will receive from this round. And vice versa affecting the draft order.

Teams will be consulted before the next round.

However, it seems quite drastic to me for a side to get a blank side if a side forgot to do the INs/OUTs.

Wouldn’t the better fallback be to just let them use their prior weeks’ side?
From memory, think that is the approach taken in prior seasons (I’ve forgotten the INs/OUTs too on occasion too).

Understand if we are going to change the approach going forward (and it was flagged earlier in the week) but it’s no good for anyone involved if we occasionally have blank sided contests due to people missing the INs/OUTs on a Friday.
