Not sure what I did to anger the SC gods this round but I copped a whopping 4 in game injuries this round and had a tagged Bont’s 55 as C.... Zerrett also out suspended.

Anyway, hopefully get more luck next round. Easy fodder for the Jets! Congrats on winning.

Well ... with Crozier most likely rubbed out this week ... the TailsPower team is now definitely in the market for a backup defender ....

- Don't be shy .. after last weeks offers or lack there of I'm not holding my breath ....
- Only got probably Forwards and possibly draft picks on offer though (unless we get very creative) ... but am willing to come to the table ...

Well done Timelords!

Darn, just when I thought I may be a chance to notch up my first win!
Burgoyne tried his best to help the Immortals in in that last game ... might be time to give the younsters like Wilkie and O'Connor a go! I am not sure Houli having a break will even save him.

@Tails would a really really old defender suit your needs?!

Been offline for 24 hours in my usual Monday break .... think I've enquired about Wilkie twice now .... ;) ... guess I can give up on that now :(

- Catching up on everything tonight and might have 4 various options on the table for this week and will go through them all tonight and get back to all involved ....

In the mix: Roppongian Rangers

The Roppongian Rangers suffered a devastating loss at the hands of the Jets over the weekend and their 2020 prospects were further dented with injuries to five key players. Hannebery (hamstring), Nankervis (ankle), Rowell (shoulder), Scrimshaw (foot), and Hogan (calf) all suffered injuries over the weekend, with the first three names expected to be out for an extended period. Josh Daicos has continued to press his case all year in the reserves and it would be hard to see him not getting his chance to play his first game for the Rangers. Merrett should also come straight back in after suspension. Meanwhile, Allen had an impressive game in the reserves and should get a chance to return after being dropped earlier. In defence, fans are starting speculate at the reasons for Blakely's continued non-selection despite pressing his case in scratch matches, with Coach Sho refusing to comment earlier. A lackluster defensive performance would usually see the coach swing changes however, with limited defensive stocks, the Rangers are likely to recall Fritsch who put forward a solid performance after being dropped last round. However, the Rangers are sweating on the availability of reserve ruckman Sinclair who suffered a knee injury a fortnight ago. The rucks have been a rollercoaster for the Rangers in 2020 however, be prepared for the Rangers to potentially be one short again for the second time in 2020.

VERDICT: Hannebery, Nankervis, Rowell, Scrimshaw and Hogan out for Daicos, Merrett, Allen, Sinclair (if fit) and Fritsch. But don't be surprised to also see Stack replace Williamson or Redman who both had quiet rounds.

Had a reply but somehow managed to delete it ... lost like 30 mins of describing my own team situation at this point in time (early morning) so in the end it will pass through to the keeper this round .... grrr

Late night update for the TailsPower team and this weeks trades...

- First and foremost a big thank you for @KLo30 and his patience in letting @Darkie and myself get our trades through !!
- Not easy on a Wednesday night as we all have different time zones and work commitments ... but I guess "communication" is the key here ...
- I don't expect this level of patience going forward though ...

So what did I do this week to bolster my defensive line with 2 LTI's and potential looming "donuts":

- The Arcadia Timelords and I came to an agreement to exchange Shaun Burgoyne for Ben Cavarra ....
- That initially provided me potential coverage for my looming donut due to Crozier getting suspended for a week ..
- Sorry to see Ben depart though as I'm still keen on him for the future ...
- Both on 1 year contracts so more of a salary exchange (at my cost)

- The Darkness and I came to an agreement to exchange Zac Tuohy for Jacob Townsend with future draft picks also exchanged as part of the trade...
- That potentially gives me my year long defence cover now .... "touching wood"
- Darkie gave up 1 year of his contracts but I used a decent amount of my surplus salary cap at the same time
- Also included in the trade was my 2021 1st round PS draft pick for his 2021 3rd round PS draft pick ... don't get anything for nothing when on the front foot :)

My updated team now sits at:

Two debutants for Creme de la Creme this round with M Hibberd and B Acres replacing S Edwards and M King.

Also in a shock decision, @Connoisseur has decided to relieve L Neale of his captaincy duty for the 1st time in club history instead opting to hand the duty to E Yeo.
Trying to create a POD, I see.
