FWIW over the off season I’m going to investigate if there’s a way to have just the three relevant positions for DPP players show up in the EMG section. e.g. A MID/FWD, with just drop downs of MID, FWD and MID/FWD. I think using some of the hidden background formula and stuff that enables the trades to be submitted might be a good starting place. An off season project.

Aren’t you supposed to be spending more time in the nets then?

@KLo30 Can I ask why I wasn't able to put Zac Fisher to Bench on Saturday, to replace Phillips - both teams played Sunday.

Obviously I missed updating teams, however he only came back from injury this week, so didn't think he was playing until selection confirmed Friday night after the round started.

Just want to be clear, the bench is now locked from Game 1 of any given round? With the pending chaos of fixtures and Thursday night games like this week, need to ensure I am on top of my game and understand the rules properly!

Great win @Jordan's Jets, too good even if Fisher or Close played.

You can use the notes to get around this. I had two players named on the extended bench for Sunday, so put them in my team and I put in the notes what I wanted to do if they didn’t make the final 22 when Sunday teams were finalised on Friday night.

Any late outs (or ins) we cop after teams are named are just bad luck. I had to cop both Harmes and Mills being late outs this week and only had one Def emergency even though I could have had more to avoid the donut.

Lockout for the round is at the beginning of the Friday Night game.

For the Thursday night game, it's a rolling lockout, where we allow players not involved in the Thursday night game to be selected once teams are confirmed at 5pm Friday.

With a Monday game, we allow a little flexibility due to confirmed teams not being announced until the Saturday evening.

Notes can be used to be transparent if Thursday night players need to be shifted due unexpected team announcements come the Friday. They aren't there for every contingency. Teams should be selected with 22 onfield and 4 emergencies.

If extraordinary events occur with the fixture, then we'll announce any corresponding alterations to these rules. i.e. things which are out of the team's control.

Sorry just seen the pic sent at same time I posted.

I had a read of that on Saturday and my interpretation was a rolling lockout was in place if in relation to team selection, as Fisher was in relation to team selection it was ok.

I didn't see anything in relation to the rolling lockout closing on Friday Night.

However, I believe that rule has been clarified today (could potentially be updated in the rules document moving forward).

Looks like Scott Pendlebury has played his final game for the Timelords. A sad way for one the inaugural leaders to end his time at the club. Unfortunately there will be no premiership send off, and his poise and experience will be greatly missed, leaving a big hole in this years finals campaign.

Could there be a Bob Murphy moment on the podium? Much for coach Diabolical to consider.
