I just voted in favour of the list size proposal (which I’m in favour of), partly to see if I was holding up the process. [In general I’ve been waiting to see if someone raises something I haven’t properly considered, before casting a vote.]

I can’t see how I can now change or add to my vote on the other items, without the risk of stuffing things up (possibly because I’m an LG member, and am able to directly edit the poll itself - ie the questions, rather than the answers).

I’m happy to put myself down as a Yes for all 4 proposals. That would be an addition of 1 vote for the first 3 items (not displayed in the poll results), and no change to the list size votes (already included in the displayed results).

I think you can all see individual voters’ preferences on each poll option in any case, but please let me know if anything is unclear regarding my votes.

On the LTI list - can you remove a player from the list (who is still injured) to add a more valuable player to the list? E.g two rookies adding up to $300k go down and are placed on list then your captain goes down.. you obviously want to find a way to get that extra $110k utilised.

On the mid-season draft - are players drafted at their current (end of Rd 9) SC salary? Sorry, this one might be self explanatory, however I think I missed it throughout the thread.

Once a player is on the LTI list they can not be reactivated. It will be up to teams to best decide if and when they place a player on the LIT list.

MSD will be the preseason price of players.

Players designated as a Ruck (Ruck only or DPP Ruck) will retain their Ruck status whilst they remain on team lists. This includes being traded to another team(s). If the player is cut from a team list or becomes a free agent (FA or RFA), there status when then be determined by the current SC designation.

For example, in 2021 Luke Jackson, Hayden McLean and Tristan Xerri would have all kept their Ruck status and would therefore have been RUC/FWD. Luke Jackson would keep his Ruck status if given a 2nd contract either by his current team or by his new team if traded.

This should increase the number of Rucks and allow teams to target Rucks in drafts or trades with the knowledge that they won't lose that status especially if they are given games at AFL level where the likelihood is they play the majority of time as a FWD and insufficient time in the RUC to retain that status for the following season.

2. Will this rule still apply if the original coach exercises RFA matching rights at the end of the 2YC?

Teams will be able to replace the player through either the Pre Season or Mid Season Drafts.

A maximum of two players from a team will be eligible to be replaced through this process.

Positions opened on the list via a player placed on LTI list will be known as supplemental selections - LTI, which are a tradeable asset.

I currently have K Hayden on my list for a salary of $0 (sneaky deal agreed with Darkie). If Hayden copped an LTI and I put him on the LTI list, how would the salary relief be calculated? Would it be based on his origial salary? Or would he not be eligible for any salary relief given the $0 salary on my list and I would need to replace using any remaining salary cap?

He is $0 on your list, so he would be $0 if you put him on your LTI list.

He is $0 on your list, so he would be $0 if you put him on your LTI list.

In shocking news for the Rangers, Ben King has gone down with an ACL….. am I correct in that if I decide to put him on the LTI list before the PSD I can get the full $410k salary relief and replace him in the preseason draft using my existing selections?
