Jacobs will be slightly underpriced I think, suffers more then most from his limited pre season, being the slowest bloke to ever play afl.

Goldstien Locked in for every man and his dog Id think.

If Goldy starts at over 600k i will pass. The same goes for Fyfe if he starts at over 700k. I'll probably change my mind during the pre-season though

Going to be a few very tempting picks next year with all of Sloane, Rockliff, Ablett, Selwood being slightly underpriced. Add in players like Watson who never really got going and a 6 premo midfield possibly very attainable from round 1.

Anyone got thoughts on new DPP players? Mundy as a d/m would be in 95% of sides Id think.

6 premo midfield was attainable this year if you skipped on ablett and rockliff, which i didn't have the imagination to do.
Ablett, Rockliff are locks for sure, wouldn't touch Watson unless he was in the price range of an m6 candidate.
On selwood... if there's signs of him returning to form in the remainder of the year then i'd consider him next year but to this point its the worst drop off in points since swanny last year

I reckon Fyfe, Sloane, Rocky should just about be locked and loaded even this far out, 2 underpriced guns and the new Mr Permacaptain. Brad Crouch too could be a super bargain basement mid keeper if ge doesn't play another senior game this year and is fit and roaring to go come the start of next year.

Agree on crouch and there's another lad that will hopefully be great value. Decent ceiling too and hopefully thanks to his skipper has next to no chance of copping a tag. Mitchy Duncan

From what i've read on here previously it's a 60% discount for 0 games isn't it? That would put him at around $236k

No, i don't believe that is correct, I would think max 30% on his 2014 average, but I doubt it will be more, imo

Id expect a maximum 20% price drop for libba so he'd be high 480-490's would make it alot tougher decision to get him or not
if hes 50-60k cheaper most people would start him no questions asked id think.

You wouldnt know he prob does but its difficult to tag the in and under players they moreso go with outside runners dont they? so prob maccrea or bont

Rocky will be an absolute lock if fit, but at this stage I don't think Gazza will be meaningfully under-priced. He's had one score under 100 and the other two have been quite reasonable. Still eight games to go, so one moderately low score won't have too big an impact of he plays out the season at his normal standards.

Even Pendles was looking cheap until the weekend. Might still be a little. JPK could be priced below his realistic potential too. No need to pay fair value on someone like Fyfe with so many other good options, in my view.

At this stage I think Rocky, Sloane, Libba and Selwood would be first picked in the mids for me, in decreasing order of confidence.

Other potentially under-priced names I will be keeping an eye on: B Smith, maybe Malceski and Hibberd, Leuey if he moves, Gray if M/F, TMitchell if M/F (especially if he stops tagging).

Libba scored 73, 65, 101 without Griffen last season.

Can't say if he will be tagged in 2016 but I can say he didn't handle it well the games I was closely watching him as an owner last year. At around 500k I'll lock him in regardless.

Yer 499k or so, For me he'd be fighting for the one spot with
Duncan $459k
Crouch $357k if VS decide to give him the full discount
Libba $416k
(Going on last years MN and discount%) if they dont play another game this year.

Interesting that wells and mzungu could be under 250k.

If gaz, rocky and sloanes av hover around the 100-110 there'll be some very similar looking midfield's next year.
