As for the Friends remark, right on the money. I have never liked or been interested in the show (only watched 1-3 episodes) and I don’t usually mind laugh tracks but was overused in the small snippets I saw.

Schitt’s Creek in particular is well worth watching. Was basically a sleeper/breakout hit in its last season or two.

Starting to get a bit closer to watching your recommendation (completed Boardwalk Empire and Sopranos as well as recently starting both 30 Rock and Taxi). Once I finish both of those I will likely give Schitt’s Creek a go.

Just watched a little three part mini series called Quiz Show.

Not brilliant by any means but I found it strangely enjoyable viewing, without giving a spoiler even if you were a sometime viewer of the original Who wants to be a millionaire I think it's three hours of lockdown done and dusted.

Have you seen The Marvellous Mrs Maisel?

Indeed, that was the reason I mentioned it (as you no doubt realized!). I’ve seen the first 3 or 4 episodes and it was shaping up well, I should go back to it.

Recently signed up to Amazon Prime and have thoroughly enjoyed watching all the available seasons of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Great performances by the main cast and enjoyed the references to the Borscht Belt and the recurring role of Lenny Bruce.
