Nice!, that show freaked me out as a kid, in a good way, as did "The Evil touch", do you remember that one? Introduced by Anthony Quayle.
Apparently the Twilight zone, and Darrin McGavin's Night Stalker was inspiration for the idea of the X-Files.

Unfortunately way before my time, so not familiar with The Evil Touch. Kolchak: The Night Stalker is brilliant and wish SBS OnDemand would bring it back as it was briefly on in 2020 and 2021. JB Hi Fi had the dvds in stock as well around the same period but looks like they no longer have it (lucky I grabbed one).
