We finally have a queen of Jury Villa. Bad luck Daisy. Hope she comes back as a returning player in a future season.

Not sure if they'll vote Simon out again. Hope it's Janine that goes tonight!

Watch Simon "conveniently" find an idol, and that gets rid of Abbey.

Edit: maybe not. Used to idols/clues being super easy to find.

Not sure why he was looking underground a few metres from camp ... they seem to be mainly at or above ground level, and usually a little more discretely located!

What the hell was Blacky doing digging to China to find an idol, cover more ground Simon!!!

Reckon if I was in Harry's shoes I would've teamed up with Janine, Pia and Blacky. Would've voted Abbey out, and then picked off Luke at next tribal (provided he didn't win immunity). No way anyone can beat Luke in the final two, Blacky would've been handy to take forward in the game as a vote, and if he lasted until the end I can't see him beating anyone aside from maybe Baden.

Anyway, now the long wait until Sunday night :(

Even worse - Monday night.

Once I saw how Simon was searching, I knew he wasn't finding an idol and was gone.

If anyone was watching that immunity challenge... Pia cheated! Pia had both hands on the bar before Luke dropped. #Lukewasrobbed
You’re bang on, she put her second arm up right around the time Simon dropped for some reason - almost reacting as though it was all done.

With that said I do think she would have won anyway - she looked totally relaxed up there to me.

Just catching up on this episode now!

Did anyone watch the TV Doco last night Collingwood from the Inside Out.

Wow, puts a lot into perspective and powerful and humanizers the players and club.

As a Collingwood supporter it's a powerful and hard to watch hour of TV but I also think all supporters will enjoy the show.

Shows how much of a fine line football can be, if the club moved Buckley on when players, supporters and media were calling for his head the club could've been so very different.

Worth a watch

Just watched it now, much respect and admiration (despite my “hatred” of them) for Collingwood and Bucks and the transformation they’ve achieved. Just comes back to how important a strong and safe culture is for an organisation/workplace. If that’s in a good place, the results usually follow (both Pies and Richmond have achieved this change over the last 2 years).
As footy fans, we often get so stuck on game styles and stats. Bucks made an great point about how he learned that is so much more important the human side is compared to the numbers.
I think this is often why our pre-season predictions about clubs are wrong. Look at Adelaide especially. On talent, they should be challenging for a top 6 spot. But there is something very clearly off there culturally. On the flip side, look at Brisbane’s rise. Perhaps we should be asking the question of our clubs - how strong and healthy is our culture right now?

Wish we had more footy docos. I love seeing the humanising aspect of clubs/coaches/players. So fascinating to get an insight into the journey of Grundy, Treloar, Blair and Bucks last year.

I think one of the first to realize this was Luke Beveridge who found it was more important to connect with players in this modern era then ever before.

He mentioned gone were the days where you just gave a verbal spray to every player that wasn't performing and the kids these days all responded differently and needed to be tailored as such. Was more about building relationships.

From what was shown, with how they struggled with 10, 12 would be really tough. I did notice the different count speed, however I think the one they showed of Simon's was standing at the end even if he had of counted to 50 at a slower speed, unlike Daisy's who you could see was falling all along. Pretty poorly edited in any case - they probably should have just shown it as happened.

From JLP in regards to the exile duel. Explains the counting from Simon vs Daisy.
Sorry Tam, just saw this!

Endemol has a bit to answer for. They wouldn’t want any more of these editing issues, especially around the challenges, or they’ll lose people very quickly. Just show it as it happened.

think a lot of reality fantasy shows are scripted

this incident, Pia winning her immunity when she clearly grabbed the pole with both hands before Luke slipped

should all be live, not filmed beforehand

The look on Janine's face there was priceless.

Not sure it was the right decision for Luke and Abbey, but it makes the last 3 episodes interesting now!

She recovered well there, almost took it very badly!

Good to see another big move.

If Harry makes it to the end he could actually be hard to beat. Would have a good story, and he will tell it well.

Wonder whether everyone gets the cutaway with their kids.
