Likely to double downgrade now with the possible players to receive dual position status in the coming rounds in the hopes of completing the forward line with two of Walsh and Gawn, etc.

Defence should now be complete with Ziebell or Sheezel to occupy the D6 spot. Merrett, Neale and Mills the targets for the final three mid spots but trades and cash gen situation will likely warrant a readjustment.
Perfect timing for The Producers to air on SBS World Movies tonight. Cash gen issues now solved if I can put those strategies learned into place. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

With 2 boosts to use, I'd be happy to use one this week.

Daicos the glaring need, Hopper the glaring out. So 1 rookie downgrade and Hopper up.

Probably Hopper/Hollands to Daicos/Drury (if named)
3rd trade is a big question mark. Any ideas?
I would consider releasing Hollands’ cash, and/or bringing in Humphrey.

Is Walsh going to see the season out? I thought he had a pretty significant injury, I know he's scoring well even playing more forward minutes but I can't afford guys who may not see the season out.
I am concerned about this as well. I recall someone posting that he had an interrupted pre season last year as well, and still killed it, but it is a lingering risk as I see it. If he gets forward status I think I’ll just have to bite the bullet though.

I’ve been torn as to whether to grab Walsh or Stewart this week. It’s much of a muchness for me, as I will probably get the other next week and I have def/mid guys covering each line, but I’m having a feeling that Walsh is the guy this week. The potential forward status just seals him for me, as his run over the next two months is one of the friendlier draws for mid scoring.

I’ve been finding excuses the last few weeks to not trade in Stewart (hoping for price drops, matchups not ideal etc.) so I’m not sure if it’s a “spidey sense” telling me not to pick him up yet as something is around the corner or I’m just feeling burnt by his Rd1 18 and “4-6 week injury” that wasn’t.

Humphrey stalling upgrades is my concern more than anything, think hes pretty clearly the best option of the pool we have available in terms of scoring output and JS, Berry and Sharp wouldn't be any better than 40/60 to last another fortnight for mine.

I need two of sharp/berry/Drury. Position doesn't matter. Cash gen over 4-6weeks does. Who?

Think Sharp is the best chance, probably going to need an injury or two to hold his spot though, feels fairly obvious to me that Rich will come back,Wilmot will return to the wing role and Sharp will get dropped.

Drury might hold just because of how many injuries they have but I wouldnt hold my breath, been pathetic 6 of 8 quarters to date.

Berry I don't see as an option at all really, Ainsworth and Holman to come back in and both will surely be ahead of him in the role.

Think if you're setting up for two of this group you're asking for trouble.

Getting low on trades.

Do I use 3 to fix LDU & Hopper over the next 2 weeks?

LDU > Walsh
Chandler > Drury

Then:

Hopper > Stewart (if he doesn't go over 160)

Or 2 trades this week?

LDU > Stewart
Hopper > Kennedy

Thoughts appreciated.

I don't know what the appeal is with Kennedy apart from his value? His score have been low, so why are so many considering him? On that note, I'd bank some cash (get in someone cheaper) and steer away from Kennedy, and use that cash next week for an upgrade

Deciding who to bring in out of Humphrey and Weddle?
Both just went up 30k from last rd, Weddle is about 50k cheaper but Humphrey has DPP and higher ceiling.

I'm hoping Humphrey has another decent score, could go up 70k or more if he does, Weddle looked good too, I'd like to get both but might have to offload Steele.

Already cooked, so feel like I am going sidways.

Cumming - Walsh
Steele - Kelly
Wilmot - Madden

Ginbey goes back and on ground, was on ground in mids.
Esava goes on ground forward.

Forced the Cumming correction with injury, not interested in holding a suspect Steele with an MCL.

Steele might not need a trade?
I thought the latest news was that he was sore, but not expected to miss a lot of weeks (might be out of date though).

At close to Humphries money I'd look at Purnell. Better JS, heatmap looked better than last year as well. I'm going Drury to build the bank. But its close.
