Winners & Losers - Round 9
Table showing players whose price has gone up by $100K or more on their starting salary OR down by $100K or more
In the winners column, rookie priced players (Cadman down) are shaded & well represented as you would expect, but plenty of cash-gen too from mid-price types.
Rookies represent 12 of the 17 who have (so far) exceeded the oft-mention $150K price gain.
Taranto is the only one in the PLUS column who started over $500K.
Others who started over $400K are Danger, Serong, Powell & Sidey.

Steele might not need a trade?
I thought the latest news was that he was sore, but not expected to miss a lot of weeks (might be out of date though).
Believe the latest news on Steele was he has a minor Medial tear. Was in a bit of pain, however was hopeful he could play through it.

If he gets through Friday training they will pick him.

If selected, makes it almost harder for SC coaches. Do you risk a mid who is clearly carrying a torn MCL and just getting by?

With 2 boosts to use, I'd be happy to use one this week.

Daicos the glaring need, Hopper the glaring out. So 1 rookie downgrade and Hopper up.

Probably Hopper/Hollands to Daicos/Drury (if named)
3rd trade is a big question mark. Any ideas?
With Teakle dropped I need to solve that dilemma so looking at
Hopper, Hollands (or Roberts), Teakle to Sharp, Drury and English. Hollands out leaves ~$156K, Roberts $12K

On second thoughts I might bring in Kennedy this week instead of Serong. I can then probably go Wilmot or JVR to Neale in one trade next week and get a rookie off field. Kennedy at M8 till his bye seems pretty decent and he's seriously underpriced.
Can you remind me why he was sub. Did he have an injury or was it form based?

Didn't he play earlier in the season with broken ribs or a collarbone etc, If so, then this should be a 'walk in the park'
