I will probably go early on Wardlaw as cover for Oliver (if he's out) trouble is that I don't anything ITB and can't sideways a non playing rookie to him, so if I'm going to use him as cover for a week then I may as well just trade Oliver > Wardlaw now and wait to see what eventuates next week with the DPP additions.

Anyone bringing in Humphrey with his elevated price? If Oliver misses I'm considering Oliver & Baker to Zerrett & Humphrey which will get me enough coin for Wilmot & JVR next week to a Ford & premium
Very feasible plan. I feel like I am chasing Humphrey though, like I did Gulden, but that $$$ is too much to miss out on. Like the idea of moving Baker on too, as he is a Rd 15 issue, although for me, it will probably be McKenna

I know exactly what happens here. Oliver will be reported as 4 weeks, most will trade, Oliver will miss 1 week, I'll throw another computer screen in the pool!
I'm thinking of holding, but to do so I need better cover than I have now. Which is hard to do from my cash position. But I'll want him in my team again come Rd 15. Is 2 trades worth it when I have massive other issues?

OUT: Oliver/Anderson
IN: Merrett

Don’t care about O’Neil tag will be bringing Merrett in. Was planning to “downgrade” Anderson to Merrett, but if Oliver is out as it seems then he’ll be the first player to go.

Can still do another premium sideways trade though while Anderson is $630K.

Could hold Anderson but feels unlikely. The fact his BE was 8 the week I traded him in was partly the reason he had appeal (aka two poor games but still went up $35k and now can readjust even if it is a wasted trade)

Wardlaw looks great for next week.
I'll be trading the same 2 out, unfortunately Anderson is a failed trade who became a negative pod very quickly.

With a break even of 202 this week he's got to go. I went more conservative last week with Weddle & Sharp downgrades and missed the Humphrey trade, but I'm weighing up whether it's too late & downgrading Anderson to Humphrey

Up late Miss_Brightside, or up early? Do you suffer from insomnia like i seem to be lately?

As for Day, will score between 80-105 most weeks and hold his value, so better keeping him for the time being. I'm sure you have more pressing issues in your side.
@doc ron, I was up late - couldn't get to sleep.

Thank you for your advice regarding Day. 💛 I will hold.

I've seen several users here talk about trading Noah Anderson. Is that a consensus 'smart' move? I thought that, generally, you shouldn't spend trades on trading premiums.

My 2 cents as an Anderson owner - I think it's a smart move to trade him. His value was always temporary, with the hope he'd make an easy $100k, score well until Touk Miller came back, and be handy over the byes given he has the favourable bye with just Geelong also off.

The problem is, he is now in a position where he'll start losing money (that 200 BE is scary!), and his scoring has been poor the last few weeks, meaning the only benefit that remains is the bye one. Not useless, but I just think the scoring and cash risk mean the ~$100k you can make taking him down to someone like Steele is worth it.

I'd only hold if you think he can get his scoring back on track and you think Touk is going to miss for a while. If neither of those things, free up the cash and cut the losses I reckon.

@Chumpion, thank you for your insight. I very much appreciate it. 💛 You have definitely given me a lot to think about.
