Both are good options.

If you have enough spots, I’d suggest you will want both. Sicily is inferior value but has a lower BE, so the expected timing of those two upgrades may determine who comes in first.

If you can only get one, Sinclair is cheaper.

If in doubt, you could let your bye structure decide.

Libba and Doch/Sinclair v Neale and NDaicos
What expected ranges do you have for season averages for Liberatore and Neale and is there a significant gap between them, between now and the final round to warrant paying the extra $60,000 for Liberatore over Neale or other similarly priced options?

I do expect Libba to outperform the other options. By how much is the question! I also like him as a POD but missing Daicos is probably a greater negative POD.

I think I'm leaning Neale/Daicos.

Merrett vs Butters

Anderson replacement.

I know Merrett is the obvious pick here, based on price and the higher risk of Butters inevitably plateauing and losing money. But realistically, it's now or never for Butters. What would you do if you had to choose and why?

Merrett. Two games against both the Eagles and Roos to come, along with a few other easier opponents. Butters hasn't performed at this level for an extended period before and is a higher risk option, but that said I have suggested him for the combined team (we already have Merrett).

I like both options.

Butters is really only now or never unless you think he averages 125+ from here, or you are about to finish your forward and mid lines. If it’s the latter, that’s fair enough, but I think the former is very unlikely.

I would favour Merrett by a margin. Butters could easily be another Anderson/Rowell type in a month’s time.
