It's been promising. Have about 3 rounds in it so far, first one was a learning experience, second was good, then didn't play for 6 weeks and had forgotten how to use it. So much is in my head when I stand over that sort of shot, even when I'm thinking "just put a putting stroke on it". Just need to find a way to lock in that short bump and run with it (putting stroke) and it might save my game. Of course practice might help.
You'll be right mate, just stand very still and putting stroke it with your hands a bit forward, if you can manage a practice session or 2 try playing it off your back foot and see how far you can make it run and then off your front foot for a bit of elevation.
I find that 90% of all my shots pull up short too so when it doubt, hit it a bit harder

Good win by Day this week
5 years since his last win, must be a good feeling.

My fantasy side liked it too. I ended up with 4 of the top 7 finishers in this one, even if I had Scott (who also finished top 10) in my side over Day for the first 3 rounds. Don't think I'll have a tournament that good again any time soon.

Fantastic result. I felt I had an OK week, including getting Day, but decided to skip Sheffler this week and paid the price

(I find it interesting that if feels like across the group we get the winner most weeks. Maybe gold tournaments aren't as unpredictable as I had assumed)

Had all 6 golfers make the cut, but with two good scorers on the bench. Can almost guarantee if I swap anyone out I'll bench the wrong ones.
It / they (Golfing Gods) almost always punish you for doing that, I think it's worked out for less than a handful of times for me, total.

I just hope PGA tour events don't turn into those rowdy circus like LIV Golf events with all the screaming and beer cups being thrown on course, I won't be watching any of that over the top stuff.
Well done this week mate, you smashed it :)
I wouldn't mind it being a bit more like Happy Gilmore. :ROFLMAO:

Got lucky picking the winner, it was the final tournament of the segment so just picked all the top golfers I still had available. Not sure I can save the better golfers through this last segment though, plenty of big tournaments to come, need to ration the top player usages out a bit as to when to pick them. You're still a good chance of catching me.

Well you definitely picked the right ones for that last one :), I had no more uses for Hovland and Schauffelle and that came back to bite me.
U.S open coming up after the Canadian open this week, will need some big guns for that one.

You do realise the LIV Adelaide party hole was modelled on the PGA Tour Phoenix Open party hole, which had it's beings in the 1990s. Arizona State has a well earned reputation as a party destination.
