Had a horror round, down to 3rd.
Hollands on field, Mitchell/Weddle bench.
Went Walsh instead of Merrett
Don’t own Brayshaw, Steele, Sinclair, Ashcroft.
(trading Ashcroft two weeks ago in this format was the trigger for many bad decisions)
On the positive side, still in a fine position obviously. Got Hollands to deal with, Oliver/Anderson etc. Whatever happens Merrett is coming in though

Hero Haynes with his 116 and 106 had been doing much better than Stewart, and was looking to do a straight swap with little extra cash needed. Then he got smashed in the head.
Can't do much about injuries during the game. 9 pts killed my score and cost me probably $60k.
Now it looks like Oliver is injured for a few games too? Remind me why we play such games.

Burning through trades in this format...
Somehow have kept holding (and looping) Hollands for weeks, he's finally getting cut this round.
Rory Atkins is another who I was happy to take his cash and some on-field scores (until this week) but had no interest holding through the byes. Was thrown all over the field and GC play again in Darwin this week. Sharp is one I don't need to trade, but realistically is going to do nothing during the byes anyway.
Ins:
Ford - Don't love him in this format.. Not sure worth the trade from Sharp.. Not sure who is better out of him and Wardlaw..
Wardlaw - Don't love him in this format too... But probably a required player if he can hold his spot for the season on the bench... And maybe a spike score or two during the byes.
Trac - I am looking at Brayshaw/Lloyd/Serong but they have the bye this week. I assume I may be able to grab them in coming weeks and at least could have Trac for this round. Trac himself has been consistent and no Oliver (for at least a round, maybe both pre-bye rounds?)
Macrae has the worst bye and I'm already anticpating I'll be trading out players from that bye (Sheezel at the minimum) so can't entertain him, but I don't like the fact Treloar is soon to return anyway.
Wouldn't be the worst if Wardlaw is given a surprise rest or something this week so I can "hold" a trade.
