Any Bomber fans or anyone else with an opinion on Nic Martin. Last 2 games, no possies in the forward arc. Racking up possies all over the ground, has he got a new role or just a bit of purple patch?

Matt Rowell opens up on grass-eating ritual that stunned footy world (msn.com)
Matt Rowell opens up on grass-eating ritual that stunned footy world
Story by James Cooney For Daily Mail Australia • 9h ago

..........Rowell says ritual gets his head in the game...... that tasting turf makes him feel 'one with the ground'.........'He does this at every single game, at every single ground across Australia,..........'I just started doing it at the start of this year at the practice matches and leading into the normal games,' Rowell told the Channel 7 crew.

'I'm just kind of feeling my surroundings. I'll close my eyes a bit. I'll listen, taste some grass, taste. Feel it. It's just kind of a ritual I've been doing just to get my head in the zone a bit.'..........

.........Seven's Hamish McLachlan then asked Rowell if he was worried about pesticides on the footy turf.
'I didn't think about that stuff until somebody asked me,' admitted Rowell.
'I haven't dropped off the perch yet.'

........Rowell isn't the first professional athlete to eat the grass where he plays.
Grand slam king Novak Djokovic has plucked a few pieces of grass out of Centre Court at Wimbledon to eat every year since he won the tournament in 2011.
'It's a little tradition,' he told the BBC in 2018.........

Just a little whinge that BEs for all bye players are published as zeros this week. What is that about? BEs were published for bye players last year.

BEs remain an important part of the decision making process this week even if the player isn't playing.

Hopefully Rowell does not start directing positive thinking at the most polluted water at each stadium to turn it into the most healing water, as his new pre game ritual. :ROFLMAO:

And I'll bet it is just pandering to the stupid, whinging 1%.
"Why did Scrimshaws BE change this week? He didn't even play because he had the Bye, and last week it was 67, and this week it is 68!!!"
Pandering to the stupid, whinging, loud 1% is what society is based on these days!

I don't know who you mean, who are these powerful influencers? (If you rather not mention, I understand.)

I was totally puzzled (and annoyed) that BYE players don't have their BEs shown.
