Reckon I've seen it a few times now, players are going limp when tackled and trying to draw a free kick by making it look like they were slammed into the ground.
This was discussed on SEN yesterday and would be ridiculous if it happens, which it has already mind you, because the changes were put in place to better protect players heads and future welfare, so if they abuse it, they're stupid.

Yep. I wish it was treated the same as staging. If the Tribunal determines that there was a flop, a couple of fines / suspensions should smarten up the players. Unfortunately, unlike a player staging (throwing themselves forward) in a marking context or pretending to go to ground when not even touched, going limp in a tackle is a lot more subtle. Pretty difficult to call out.

What I have liked is the fact that umpires will blow the whistle much earlier now to avoid the sling from taking place. It's a sandwich for the AFL because it means more stoppages and it is a rare occasion that I find a reason to praise the AFL but if that has been the directive to umpires, it's a good thing. Can't stand this whole "wait for ball to pop out" rubbish.

With 16m I’m buying an ultra premo team! Game over! Suggest going back to 20 or 24 trades with extra purchased for a cost, later in season.
Ok, let's make it $15M
22 x $560k players + say 3 x $360k players for loop and cover, and 5 x $160k players. Leaves you money for 3 trades.
How will you go, when you get more than 3 Suspensions/LTIs in the first 4 or 5 Rounds, with no trades left, no mature Rookies, and your $550k injured Prem can only be traded to a $300k MP, because you have no trades left?
I would suggest you still need a balanced approach, and need to grow to a full Prem team. Getting a full Prem team earlier would keep people more engaged longer. Knowing you never have to run out of trades has the same affect.

I like the word 'monetised', as I see SuperCoach as a 'Stock Exchange Game', instead of trading underperforming Companies to potentially better performing Companies, we are using AFL Players instead.
Exactly Bernie. There are basically 2 components to this game, Players and Trades. To make them fully interchangeable, then both need to be monetized, instead of just the players.

I'd prefer it if they would put in a way that we could put players out of their preferred position, but at reduced % of their final score.

eg, I'm going to have a 0 in my forward line, but I have a midfielder available. I could play that midfielder in my forward line, but I only get say 80% of their final score.

Such a system would also allow us to put any combination of DEF/MID/RUC/FWD into our 8 bench spaces.

Parker, Cerra, Laird hearings tonight.
O'Meara and Zorko tomorrow.

I've just realised all the players involved, those are some serious players in the game... I can understand the frustration about having that calibre of player missing games for what appear somewhat innocuous incidents.

Hopefully this clarifies where the lines are drawn going forward. But I feel like I've said that four or five times this year already...

Might be where the AFL thinks the lines are drawn but we the supporter and clubs don't have to agree and can continue to voice our dis approval of these decisions if we want change. They might start listening if we stop watching as the majority of supporters have had enough of what they are doing to the game.

From St Kilda's updated injury list.

Bytel has entered concussion protocols and won’t be available for the game against the Swans.

They play Sydney on the 12th day, would he be eligible?

Must have been a heavier knock to rule him out already.

Edit:
From St Kilda
“Given the quick turnaround to the Sydney game, we’ve already decided to take the pressure off Jack to be ready for that game,” Misson said.
