MvG wins a record 7th Premier League title with victories over Smith and Price. The saying "Beware the injured golfer" came into play as MvG totally outplayed both of his opponents.

In what has looked likely for weeks, we finally got confirmation that @Rowsus locked in the 10 points. The only switch occurring as @KLo30 and @tso traded places on the PL points table. @THCLT leads alone on the back of that, with @tso and @Connoisseur filling the minors.

The next event is the World Cup teams event starting in the middle of June. There is a change of format to this years event with 40 nations competing. 12 groups of 3 will play a round robin with the winners of each group progressing to the 2nd round, where they will join the top 4 seeded nations who are awarded a bye from the group stages. More info to follow in the lead up.

On that note, once again watch out for the Czech Republic. Both enjoyed great runs in the UK Open with Karel Sedlacek exiting in the fifth round and Adam Gawlas a semi finalist. Yet to make it past the first round at the World Cup but expect that change very soon.
