Premier League - Night 14

Michael Smith goes back to back with victory in Manchester. Defeats of Clayton, MvG and Asp sees him get almighty close to booking his spot on finals night.
@KLo30 wins night 14, over the only Smith captained @Professor, and moves up a rung in the standings on the back of it.

@THCLT jumps into the lead on c/b over @tso, with @Connoisseur maintaining his place on the podium. @Rowsus still maintaining the 10 spot. 2 weeks to go + finals night to improve your positions.

Premier League - Night 15
Michael Smith books his finals place with 3 night wins in a row. Sets up an Asp v Clayton matchup next week, but Asp with a win may still have to win a further match to qualify in the final spot.

@blue dreamer on the nightly winners list ahead of @Ironhawk and @Professor. Good to see some of the guys that have had a more torrid PL campaign get a podium and some late points.

@Rowsus still the man to catch in the PL, and @THCLT shading @tso on c/b. 2 nights to go. Finals night being a single player pick without captain for the best of 19 (SF) and 21 (Final) leg format.

Price just missing the double 7 for a 128 checkout.
Wright nails the double 18, giving him a 4 Dart check out of 216!!! o_O

Price nails the final leg with a 129 checkout, winning 6-2, with a 103 average, and 3 x 180's.
His highest checkout before the final leg was only 40, but he went close to some big ones.He seems to be in form.
Meanwhile, Wright has been disappointing most of this series. Ave 87.5 and 2/6 on checkouts isn't great darts.

Price 6.5 points to Wright -1 ....... I think.

Clayton not firing. Lands a 160 checkout to get his first leg at 5-1!

Aspinall on fire that match. Wins 6-1 with a 103 average, 4 x 180's and a 110 checkout.

Aspinall 7 points to Clayton -1 ........ I think.

@The Banker has his POD C choice off to a flyer. Meanwhile, Prof, Ironhawk and blue dreamer licking their wounds!

Smith 0/6 on the Checkouts, behind 0-3.

Now down 0-4 to VdB, and started leg 5 with a 45!

Smith nails the Bull for an 86 checkout, to go to 1-4, then opens with a 180 in leg 6.
Now 2-4.

Smith open 180 ...... again!
VdB nails a 132 Checkout with a Bull. 2-5.

Only a 140 open this time by Smith. Now 3-5. Smith throws first for 135.

VdB hits an 8, when shooting for double 16, looks nervous. 4-5 now. VdB opening for a 180.

Vdb 6-4 over Smith.

Smith 0 points to VdB 5.5 points ....... I think.

No one with VdB, everyone with Smith.
Meanwhile, the only ones to have Smith C were Prof, blue dreamer and Ironhawk, hitting the wrong end of the double, having Smith as C, and Wright/Clayton also out in the 1st Round!
Unlucky, guys!
