Why?
These aren't the compelling reasons of a great SC'er, but ......
He was down about 15 points on last years average, but had a very low BE.
He showed in patches (twice) last season, he was capable of averaging well over a period. (3/114 then later 6/106)
He was a POD.
Thank you! I asked because I looked at him post the 150 score and went yeah nah pretty quickly. I’m looking for triggers that can stop me being so dismissive!

Not long ago it was "if you choose to bump and get the head you're in trouble". So in other words tackle instead of bump. Now if we tackle and the head hits the ground you're in trouble. Its the AFL trying to absolve themselves from any future compo claims, as was demonstrated from their Hawthorn racism statement. Afl, "nothing is our fault" Get everyone to sign a waiver, its a contact sport, if you get hurt it was your choice to participate. There is making it safe, but you can only go so far. You take away why people watch the game to begin with. No one wants to see injuries, its an unfortunate bi-product of a contact sport.
When i finish a batting innings covered in bruises because I'm not quick enough to react, why should I want someone punished for that. Not quite the same thing, but my choice to play knowing I may get hit.

Calm down folks. Sic (and Mansell for that matter), aren't actually suspended yet. Let's see what the tribunal says first before we lose our collective minds.
Albeit, I wouldn't bet on them getting off.

Sheezel, Briggs, Green, Coniglio, Cincotta, NDaicos (C) to play
Another bad choice of VC, i.e. Dawson, considering I also had Laird in the same game as well as 5 others who scored 120 plus, so nervous wait on NDaicos playing, otherwise Coniglio.
Gulden and Lloyd/Mitchell in drop zone.

Cincotta and NDaicos (C) to play, happy I didn’t put the C on Coniglio.

And while I'm at it, I thought the below the knees rule was brought in to stop blokes sliding in from outside the contest. We now punish the blokes who hit the deck trying to pick up the ball in the contest.
