You do realise the LIV Adelaide party hole was modelled on the PGA Tour Phoenix Open party hole, which had it's beings in the 1990s. Arizona State has a well earned reputation as a party destination.

I do yes, and it's quite fun to watch when it's party time on those stadium courses, but if every event becomes that, I'm not watching anymore.

Nah probably just picked the team and then closed the page without thinking really, first round adrenaline would've been flowing through his veins in his home championship.
Anyways, I've put him on for the second round so he'll probably score 8, just warning you

There is no need to do this to a course. You can't have sanctions for missing the fairway and imposing hitting it at the same time.

At least you can still see the ball in the rough, the Pros should be able to get a little bit of the clubface on the ball.

Can still see the ball when it goes into the rough, clearly still some growing of the rough to do before the weekend!

At least you can still see the ball in the rough, the Pros should be able to get a little bit of the clubface on the ball.

And to be honest, I don't mind those slopes. It's dramatic, but it's not necessarily unfair. I don't k ow whether there's a landing area 3 m to the right which is the ideal line to the green, and where the ball will hold. There's no requirement for the ball to hold just because it lands in short grass, you need to actually think about where you hit it on the fairway.

I'm much more offended by 6" deep grass, which is purely penal and takes out the ability to play riskier lines because if you do the penalty is too great.

Pretty standard I reckon. I have Schauffele, but managed to have Rory on the bench for Rd 1....could have been the perfect start!
