Very strong team with some nice cover everywhere. Would you consider dropping Briggs to Jack Williams, gives you $500k to upgrade Sheldrick or Ashcroft to Petracca
I agree with this @Tails.

You already have 23 premos, just have to have them in the right configuration/hope that your injured ones return soon.

I would look to trade a ruck for someone who provides good DPP cover/looping ability. If you trade Ashcroft at the same time you can probably get an elite midfielder and repurpose one of your existing premos as the 23rd man.

Ensuring you have a good FD setup would also be a priority if I was in your position. If you reconfigure your team how you want the final side to look (all premos on field and in their usual positions) it will be easier to see what DPP is most additive, but I suspect it’s DF (eg Dewar) or MF (which you may have covered subject to Drury’s donut draw, which I recall as being good).

I'm prepared to consider anything ...

- I'll have to check some BE's but think Sheldrick and Ashcroft can wait another week ..
Ashcroft vs Eagles @Gabba is a definite hold this week.

Sheldrick looking a great M/F DPP @23. If his form doesn't drop off too much, hold until the end.
Hopefully he can keep this up 1-2 weeks until Oliver is back.

If Sheldrick does well, you can downgrade Whitfield this week to a D/M filler link.
If he doesn't, I guess you need to loop Whitfield and hold another week. His BE doesn't look huge. Maybe 105 at a guess.

One of the rucks will have to eventually go to free up cash for a MID upgrade.
Who do you dump though? Darcy better than Briggs IMO so maybe time for Briggs to go?
BEs also in Darcy's favour. I think Briggs' BE is around 91.

Of the notable absentees in your MID, Bont is the big one. He should be the next target.
Dunno if him vs Pies this week is a Godsend, but it looks like he can wait a week.

Probably need a ruck with R/F DPP as cover. Not urgent. D Cam might dip for you in 2 weeks and be R3 / F6-7.

Lots of options, but it's all in the timing. Time to get your spreadsheet out and see if cash is still important, or whether you have enough and it's just time to move to the proper premiums ASAP.

Thanks for the reply ....

- I agree with everything you have said ....

I always have a spreadsheet in action ;)

The more I think about it I'll probably just save the trades for another round for now if I can ...

- Can't do much until I know if Dunkley, Ziebell and Clarry are playing ...

Good call ...

I think it looks like this with 3 of Lloyd, Ziebell, Whitfield, Sheezel on field each week for now ...

- weakest link could eventually go ... not sure who it is yet ...
- Dewar not needed "yet" as you said due to having Drury ...

Plan to hold Briggs for now as insurance .....

So I guess that means I definitely need another mid .... an eye on Mills this week

I take a few more risks in this format and am reluctant to trade some that I enjoy watching play ...

- Sheldrick: they have got a great possible future gun there .... can't see why they wouldn't keep pumping games into him ...

- Sheezel/Ashcroft: see above ...

- Briggs: love the way he plays and am pretty sure some clubs would be circling to get him off their hands if they can't afford a reasonable contract upgrade (hopefully Port) ... he is more important to a teams structure than raw DT stats IMO ...

Nice one.

My initial reaction was that you need to try to get Lloyd on field, however if he averages 91 and Ashcroft 82 (noting there’s no guarantee of either), that’s only c. 72 extra points from the reshuffle, which is less than the value of the trade you’d use to effect it.

If you can get the DPP lined up, and ideally do something to squeeze more value out of your R3, you should be in a good spot.

My last 3 weeks have been 7th, 14th and 17th weekly to push overall from 507 to 110.

If Dunks is back I'm set with 4 trades. If he misses, I'll look to Sheldrick and Harrison to rookie and J Cameron. One of Day, Cameron and Sheezel then the 23rd when Dunks is back.

2399 was good enough for 108 for the week and pushed inside the top 100 to 87. 200 points to top 50 and 700 points to top 10.

3 trades left with the plan to use one on Harrison to J Cameron. Other options are Maric to Ziebell or blow two trades and grab Docherty, pushing Day to coverage (Chesser and Maric out for example).

Unlikely to use the last boost.

Tempted to blow my last two trades on getting in Touk and Harvey for Sheldrick and Ford.
But I have 6 on the bench with 3 MIAs, and can loop them as fixture timing is favourable.
Thinking I'll let the trades slide and hope my subs can hit a decent score.

The way things have been, the last thing you want is a big premium to be out for the rest of the season and you've got $1m on the bench.
Touk will likely go 110 for the rest of the season, but when Laird and Green are back, I'll have 9 premo MID only players.

Of the DPP MID/FOR players, Butters is now injured and Nic Martin might lose his value if Setterfield is back.
Coniglio is probably the only attractive one but $10k short of a straight swap for Green.

Note to self for next season. KEEP MORE TRADES!
