I like it alot. Pretty similar to my team but youve got more invested in the forwards and we share 4/5 mids but ive got Foden in place of Bissouma. 3/5 defenders are the same too. Ive decided im not chasing $ this week so ive gone with just the 1 trade. Im keeping J.Pedro for the time being even though i dont have much faith in him
Yeah, no rush to to make money this season. Kane gone. Mo going? Only player I really want is Trippier, and with 3 more tough games to go, I'm in no rush. Hopefully he gets belted down to $9m, and I can flip Walker and VdV for him and another rookie.

So word is that Enciso could have a long term injury, so Pedro is possibly back as a long term option.

With Timber crocked and Tomiyasu suspended, Gabriel *SHOULD* play this week.

So just as I dump Gabriel cos he's about to drop a pip, and I grab Gvardiol, Shaw now is out.
Watch Gvardiol get benched and me left holding my testicles.
All this cos I didn't grab Saliba instead of Gabriel. The butterfly effect can be so damn cruel.
So, I decided to keep Pedro this week based on this news I heard last night - this is for FPL. I traded him for RDT (might bring him back). Pedro is also on penalties, so I traded Mubama instead to Jackson

No idea who to trade to (in Fantasy) next round but obviously he has to go. Ive got Botman and Baldock as D4 & 5 so Botman is covering him this round. I might go down to someone at 4.5 or 4 and bank the cash. Ideally id go to Trippier but dont have the $. Newcastle's schedule gets easier from about round 6 for like 5 rounds so that might be the opportune time to get Trippier.

I wouldn't bring back Pedro in DT unless injury news says Enciso is out for a while. There's an international break coming up, so that will buy injured players some time. This is the reason I'm not bringing Gusto in. Before you know it, Reece could be back.

If you don't have Flekken, maybe go for Henry. 4.5 and a good hedge. Udogie could be another. Gvardiol is he starts again?

I went Flekken and Shaw. Maybe in hindsight I should have got Onana and Henry.

This is exactly why you don’t use your FPL free transfers early in the week. Traded Gabriel and Pedro to Colwill and Alvarez Wednesday morning. Was too worried about the Gabriel drop and Alvarez rise. On the plus side, had a dilemma on who to bench and was looking like Maddison v BOU, that’s obviously not an issue anymore.
Yeah, not wise to go early, especially now that there's midweek games.
But at least you did the right thing and ensured your B1 was also a decent pick.
If you have insurance, you can take the risk. Units are still important at this stage of the season.

Trades for RDT are:
Bruno>Bissouma/Sarr
Richarlison>Alvarez
Ahmedhodzic>Estupinan
3.15m ITB

Sarr or Bissouma? Sarr probably has the better initial cash gen with that 18, but I feel like Bissouma is more nailed to start and he has been getting more misc points.

Formation still up in the air this week, good fixtures everywhere. Wissa v CRP or Torres @BRN is the main decision. Lining up like this at the moment: Screenshot 2023-08-25 at 7.24.03 pm.png Screenshot 2023-08-25 at 7.24.18 pm.png

FPL - Wildcard was enacted last weekend

RDT - Really looked hard to get away from Wissa and nothing is really going to work without going 2 defenders and Pedro out, with pricing limiting who I can bring in.

Superstition says when you can make 3 trades with $0 left and they look like decent trades you just go for it.

In FPL going to burn 2 trades and lose 4 pts

Very tempted to use my wildcard though
The WC is really when you have to perform major surgery in your team. When you REALLY need to change 5-6 players cos they're injured or their fixtures take a significant turn. If you got guys like Gabriel and Pedro, you can stall another week and see what happens.

I went for Bissouma as his consistent returns mean you don't have to flip when the big score comes out of the cycle.
He too can score the odd goal, and given the way Ange plays, he might be even better than he was at BRI.

Wissa starts ahead of a DEF, for sure. Even without a goal, he'll likely cover Torres with a CS.
Given Wissa is shooting like a US postal worker, he's likely to get another goal involvement.
