I can do Chilwell > Gusto & J.Pedro > Sterling with 50k leftover.

Obviously that is being really aggressive and is counting on Chelsea doing the bulk of attacking/scoring. NTF have scored goals in each of their games so far so you would think they aren't too easy to keep a clean sheet against. What i like about this option is it gives me a full 15 (14 + goal keeper loop) players that i really like but ideally i would find a way to keep Chilwell and still trade in Gusto + Sterling. However, i have exhausted all options and outside of dropping Foden or Diaby and thus using a trade boost, there is no other way i can get to Gusto & Sterling in 2 trades. If i dont do these trades, i will likely go without trading for the round, unless team sheets throw up a surprise.

For reference

If you are happy with your squad depth, would like three Chelsea assets and to keep Chilwell, then an option could be Ahmedhodzic and Pedro to Gusto and say a Kaladjzic/Jimenez type. Would likely remove a cash generating position at the third forward position as well as the player selected unlikely to be needed in your 11 due to running a 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 formation most rounds (depending on fixtures) and allow a boost to be kept.

The only issue I have with dumping Salah is who to captain if Haaland fails? Bruno or Saka are always great options, but of all weeks, they're playing each other. Doh! I guess it'll have to be one of them. Hopefully Odegaard doesn't take a PK again and hopefully Mount stays home.
Saka. Take the guy at home.

I'm definitely considering this option. I guess it somewhat neglects the 3rd forward position but i dont mind that for the time being given it gives me 5 good defenders. I've decided im definitely keeping my boost and im likely not trading Chilwell either.

Would it be possible to post your side pre trades and remaining salary, for any alternatives to be proposed?

With Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brighton over their next four matches, I am not particularly fond of trading one Aston Villa defender to another, as it seems like a very short term cash gain with the worst case scenario of an immediate flip and would prefer to hold Torres in this instance if you do not have room to jump on another low breakeven defender.
Haha!! I didn't even realise I had even done that... Was only focused on Breakevens and couldn't afford Sarr, unless I traded Pau out, who didn't have the greatest BE.

Wasn't even planning on playing Digne this week, but with such a good BE, thought he would increase enough in value. AV are a good side though, so I think they could get 1-3 clean sheets in that bunch of 4 games, but I see your point re swapping an AV defender to another - doesn't really make sense.

I guess it would very short term, but was also thinking of this like SC, where I could look for team value, so I can eventually afford to get players of a higher value into the side. Don't want to trade any of the higher value players. I'll have a good think about it and reconsider. Here is the rest of my team with the BE values.

If Pool get a few passed Villa, it could stunt Digne's cash growth to 1 week.

Gusto could be an option, though again, a short term one.

VdV or Akanji would be longer term options with good runs.

The League Cup sure gets some one sided matches, I see Blackburn won 8-0 this morning for example. A bit surprising that Wolves was the only premier league team with a big win (5-0), probably as most rest their better players.

Im mighty tempted to get Sterling in for Mitoma but ive used my free transfer. I have 1M in the bank so can do it but maybe i should be patient and do it next round. Not really sure who i would bench anyway. Im just hoping ManU vs Arsenal is a high scoring game given my midfield. Hopefully for the first time this season, i bench the right players.

Rashford's record away to ARS is very poor. 1 goal (last game) in many games.
BRI have also bossed United in their last 3 EPL encounters. Maybe Rashy out for Sterling, even for a hit?

I've thrown caution to the wind and gone with a Free Hit...i figure given my 3 Arsenal & Man U players its a decent time to use it as i'd rather not transfer Rashford/Bruno/Saka out for good. Ive got to decide between Mbeumo & Wissa/Jackson, ill probably field Mbeumo ahead of Wissa.

Obviously im new to this game so while i think it might be early to use a chip, im happy to experiment and play the 'fixtures game' for this round.

NO don't use a Free Hit. Save it for when there is a double gameweek or a week that does
not have many fixtures and you don't have much coverage.

Have traded Shaw to Udogie in FPL, 1.3m spare now.

Trades for RDT at this stage are Pedro and Torres to Jackson and Cash. 40,000 bank. Pedro is definitely going. Can only afford Jackson with these trades but going for Sterling is another option. I’d need to not do the second trade or go from Cash down to Akanji or Van de Ven.

Feels weird to spend 2m to go from a Villa defender to a Villa defender. Tough fixture this week (would be benched) but I think they’re a decent chance to keep a CS against Palace at home. The 31 is huge which makes the trade not really capable of being a big mistake unless Torres goes huge. I think he’s also a reasonable chance of an attacking return in the next 2-3. He has an xGI of 2.38 and xG of 2.09, so he’s actually underperformed to this point.

How many more points do people think Haaland will score over Sterling this week?

Both at home to easy opposition. I am exploring a high risk out of box option to trade Haaland to Sterling. It will all depend on what I can do with the left over cash to make it talk elsewhere or not and if I can leave myself an option to get Haaland back next round if it goes pear shaped ... potentially via Alvarez. There could be a $3m swing between the two this week and Haaland's 66% ownership (96% in top 1%) is seriously tempting me ... o_O

Nooooo. As Tso said, it should be used in a DG or bye week.

Can you undo it? I think you can't.

Emery has said that Cash won't always play MID like he did last game. Horses for courses, and given Pool can score, I doubt he plays there next game instead of Bailey. If we didn't have options like VdV and Akanji, I'd probably go for him too, but they're good bets with real chances of good pts returns over the next few fixtures. Cash reminds me of the Mitoma and Estupinan trades people made. Just hoping the trend will continue, without looking at the underlying factors that caused the trend.

Sterling is also a safer and more experienced bet than Nic. CHE are signing FORs and Nic might find himself on the wing after the International break.
