I am speechless in a transfixed state of
***. In general footy terms, I am surprised and happy that Bulldogs won. I went to the game in Canberra not thinking happy thoughts but we got away with a win. In supercoach coach terms, I look at my team and weekly score and wonder what did I do to deserve this.
It all began when Melbourne was playing Carlton - I had Dom Tyson penciled in for a 90+ score against the luckless blues but I too walked away feeling blue with his even steven 50. I should have realised than that bad things were still to come. I drive down Canberra's empty streets to StarTrack Oval, blissfully unaware that that my Mummy is a late withdrawal
AND that I left my phone at home

But I tried to think positive (not about Bulldogs beating GWS, but for my supercoach team). I thought that hopefully, hopefully the magnificent Currie, who had been simmering on the stove for well over a year, could stand up and deliver a Michelin Star performance. But wait. Nothing can go right for me this round. For some god damn reason I had Max ****ing King with the E on him. I yet again tried to stay positive and tried to put another E on Currie so I could selvage 40-60 points. But no. All my other Emergencies had to have played already - thank you Geourgiou, Thomas, King and Impey. But not only did the supercoach gods feel fine to take my Mummy away from me, they even didn't give me the little warmth of a candle in a blizzard in Currie's pitiful score as he was dropped (ommitted or injured I don't care). I would have been very fine with a 40 from Currie, because that would mean that it would have pushed my score above 2100. Not only that but
not one of my forwards scored over 100 this week. There was a lot more **** that happened to me this round but CBF with it right now.
Moral of the story is don't come to the ****-hole that is Canberra, come away with a win and expect to have a great weekend.
EDIT: Tom Mitchell is gone for the rest of the season. You can only score lower than Lewis Taylor for two consecutive weeks before getting the hell out of my team
