Touk at 520k pretty hard to ignore. Can’t imagine Hardwick will play him as wildly out of position as he has been since returning.
Hope not. Both Dew and King did it this year for god knows why, but yeah he'll be around $530k if I had to guess.

Previous years he was doing 120.3 and 124.5 so if he is put back in the midfield (where he has belonged for many many years now....) then he will definitely be at a juicy price.

I hate Gold Coast, however, so I might need at least 5-6 games to see if it sticks. By then, he'll probably be around 600k which you can still stomach.

Sweet could be the Briggs of 2023 if he gets to a club where he could be number 1 ruck.
I’ve liked what I’ve seen of him in past years, but with Tim English there, he couldn’t get a sniff this year.

Assuming he gets to Port, the other ruckman there are Lycett, Teakle and Hayes. Word on the street is that Lycett wants out but we’ll see what eventuates. I’d say Sweet is well ahead of Teakle and Hayes.

The rucks are going to be an interesting line next year I believe, lots of viable options around. If we have a situation where Sweet is solo rucking down to an improving young Port midfield, I will be very tempted.

Depends what you think Sweet can average really, I'd need to see a fair bit in the pre season, always looked a liabilty around the ground to my eyes.
For me I haven't started the best 2 rucks the last 2 years and my season has suffered for it, next year I think I might just go English and Marshall.

Rucks has never been an area I have looked to stuff around, the one year I did I used like 5 trades in the Ruck position and it pretty much ruined my season, I'd need to see plenty to be doing anything other than picking English and a solo Gawn significantly discounted, these top liners that do it themselves just have too bigger ceilings to be taking on and their injury risk will be reduced as we should have Jackson and Grundy as forwards.

If he gets that discount will be priced around 45 average
Averaged 89 in 4 games without English in 2022
One to watch in preseason
Latest talk is they want support for Sweet aswell, doesn't exactly give confidence that hes going to be a solo Ruck.

I dont think Port could even structurally play two Rucks, if they add Soldo and Sweet it will be very interesting dont want another Reeves and Meek scenario.
Neither do I. They always play 3 key forwards and Dixon, Marshall, Finlayson and Lord are all pushing for those spots. Can’t see them picking a second ruck over 2 of them. Even Georgiades will push for a spot once he’s back. If they want to split the ruck, I think it’d be more beneficial to use Finlayson along with Sweet rather than a traditional ruck.

Just makes me question how much they actually rate him when they are looking at other options when its pretty obvious structurally they are only ever going to play a Solo Ruck, you don't want to pay 240K for a guy thats no gaurantee to even get picked but we'll see how the trade and FA period plays out.
