To Athomas, hope you see this before round 4 but your bench player needs to come on mate.
Cheers, hard after Round 2 when round isn't complete so can't swap. No idea if it opens for a set time once round completes on Day 3

You can change future rounds at any stage. On your team roster, it lists your scores for each round. If you need to change your roster for Rd 3 during Rd 2, click on Rd 3 then you can make your changes. Took me a while to figure that out myself.

I was due a bad tournament I guess, I will get last place in this one after cup points. Hopefully it's the only blip for a while.

Ahhh ok that makes a lot more sense. Cost myself points a few weeks not doing that, see if I can move up slowly now

0-6ft is a very broad range

More interesting would be 3ft - 6ft then 4ft - 6ft then 5ft - 6ft

Wonder if the data shows anything noticeable when broken down
True that, if I was analysing my putting from 0-6 ft I reckon I'd probably only make em 50% of the time, guess that would make my handicap about 70?

From 0-1ft - - 100%

The real question is at what range does your "make" percentage drop noticeably

Mine - I'd say 4ft
Exactly. That then plays into your lag putting. A 'good' lag putt is one that gets inside the range for that specific golfer, where they are confident they will make 90%+ of the next putt.

I can't seem to find make %'s from different ranges within the 0-6ft range.

Anyway made 2 changes this week. Including subbing out a player who is looking like making the cut. Seems risky

I thought after R1 I may only have 3 make the cut, but it's looking like I will get 5 through.

Only one more tournament in this sector before usages reset for everyone, so you may be able to bring that player back in for R3.

I'm a single figure golfer who currently has the putting yips BAD.

Have sent my Scotty Cameron to the naughty corner of the garage and am looking to buy a broomstick putter.
I've become so right hand dominant putting its horrendous.
It's bloody frustrating

Congrats on being a single figure golfer! I'm at 15 at the moment, and that's about as good as things have ever gotten for me. I've been using this dashboard to see where I need to improve: https://golfinsideruk.com/golf-stats-by-handicap/

Based on that dashboard, I hit enough fairways and greens in regulation to improve my handicap. But I need to achieve more 'up and downs' and reduce my 3 putts if I want to be realistic about bringing my handicap down further.

I recently bought a TaylorMade Spider GT Rollback putter (on sale), to get a bit more weight and confidence behind my putts from inside 6ft.

Yips are the worst. I have had various short game yips for 20 odd years. Putting not so bad, but the best I've putted was with the long putter (only belly length) before they banned anchoring. Made no difference to my short putting but made me so much more consistent from range. The rule change made the game much less fun for someone who couldn't get to the course and putting green with any regularity.

Hey Toxic, I would suggest that it's not your Putter that's causing your drop in form but your mind.
I know this sounds quite simplistic and I don't know how much time you put in before you start your round but I find going to the practice putting green of the course you're playing that day and using one ball, make or attempt to make 20 x 2 putts in a row from medium to longish distance (5 to 12 metres) helps a lot to prepare you for that round.
Another practice drill I like is focusing on rocking the shoulders back to forward, (no hands involved or wrists). Square to square and hands are quite passive in the action. Practicing your putting by making putts on that course you're playing that day helps a lot I find.
Sometimes when we're pressed for time we just rock up and start teeing off with no putting practice, it can make you lose confidence pretty quick when you leave your first few longish putts way short.

I've tried doing this now for Rd4.

But it won't allow me to Shuffle

All players are locked in place.

Tips or screenshots on how it happens would be brilliant

At the top of your roster you will see something like the above. Make sure the next round is highlighted in blue (Round 4 in this case) and not the current round, then drag a golfer from your bench onto the golfer that you want to swap them with (or vice versa).

Russty can probably confirm you might not want to swap players every round after this one though, I see he has benched a lot of points through swaps the last two rounds. Been there, done that many times myself.
