Hey TommyK
Hibberd, then Bartel, then a big gap to the other two.

Who are the potential bubble boys next week bar Lloyd and gray
Patrick Cripps is the other main one.
Fwd - Lloyd $117,300 scored 131 (does King affect his JS? probably not on that game, but after that?)
Mid - Gray S $102,400 scored 104 (does Wingard affect his JS? Maybe becomes a vest candidate)
Mid - Robertson $117,300 scored 49 (Brisbane will want games in their young players now)
Def - Cutler $117,300 scored 19 (not sure what to make of him yet, but Brisbane is a bonus for JS)
M/F - Simpson J $168,300 scored 34 (Freo having injury woes, but some players coming back soon)
Mid - Van Unen $123,900 scored 40 (zero confidence in JS)
Mid - Cripps $157,300 scored 74
Fwd - Paine $162,000 scored 50

i Have a question to do with what i do with my trades this week. atm im thinking

Mitchell to Fasolo and
Caddy to Jacobs Via Dpp Thurlow in ruck

But ill still have Mummy on my bench with a ruck of Sandi, Jacobs, Mummy, King

Then next week i thought get rid of mummy put Thurlow back to ruck and bring in Lloyd.
Then if Tyson has another bad one bring in either of Gray, Robertson or cutler.

doing these 4 trades will leave me with about 725k in two weeks which will be good for some upgrades

need to bring a ruck in this week and need to get rid of caddy and mitchell

I must admit, it sounds a bit wasteful, unless you are half hoping Mummy will be back sooner than expected.
Why not Mummy ---> Jacobs, Caddy ---> Fasolo?
Generally, keep the one of Mummy or Mitchell you think is the better chance to be back next week, then if that player is back you have options.
Mummy, Caddy and Mitchell won't change in price this week, and we know Caddy won't be back soon.

Rowsus do you have fish on Good Friday
I used to make a point of having a Big Mac on a Friday (about 30-35 years ago!), just to thumb my nose at convention. These days I just eat whatever is on the menu. I had a Capricciosa pizza for lunch, and I'm having pork medallions for dinner.
I will say hi to Charo for you, when I see him! :p

I have friends that ran a fish stall at Vic Market for many many years. The 2 days before Good Friday were their biggest by far, up until about 8-10 years ago. Now their prawn ans Lobster sales at Xmas far outstrip any Good Friday sales, which are now just a little bit more than a normal week.

Hey Rowsus, I want to get Swallow in this week to boost my defense and not have to play 3 rookies defenders..
I've devised 2 plans
1. Not really a plan... Polec+190k-Swallow
2.Ellis>Gray, Clay Cameron>Swallow
What do you think?

I prefer the 2nd one. Polec has more growing to do, Ellis closer to cooked than Polec is, and you are upgrading Cameron who boarders on useless/cooked anyway.

mitchell to wingard???

thinking overall ultimate scoring compacity although dont want to miss fasolo but not sure about j/s seedsman to come back does a far better job and can run in the mids to

Liking the look of Guthrie, or for something cheaper, Pittard. Really as a 80ish scoring, doughnut stopping measure which will rise in value.

Don't have enough cash for a premo this wk.

Thoughts, or alternatives? Thanks.

I like that better than getting Fasolo in. I think Fas is a bit neither here nor there, with his buy in price both eating capital and limiting growth potential.

Don't trade in "stop gaps". If you can't reach a Prem, wait until you can. They are generally getting cheaper, at the same time your cows are getting fatter.

Personally, I think swallow will average 6-8 points than Simpson, and it is very likely for him to explode round 5-7. However, with the lack of bench cover, I find myself having trouble fielding 18 players in round 8. Do you think Simpson would be a better choice?
Also, should I go ellis>crisps or gray. Gray is a chance of being the sub, while I think the more expensive option crisps has a much better job security

Donuts are not the death knell people make them out to be.
If you are right, and Swallow outscores Simpson by 7/game, and they each play say 17 more games for the season, that's 119 points. It would seem having Swallow and a donut, if it ends up that way, is better than Simpson.
I have the same trade Dilemma with Ellis ---> Gray/Cripps. Gray has price and current score advantage, Cripps has better JS for now, it would seem. I have sorted decided, if Gray is not green vested I will go Gray, if he's green vested I'll go Cripps.

Hi rowsus

My first trade is sorted. Mummy to Jacobs.

My dilemma is which premium fwd to trade in for Caddy/T Mitchell. Pavlich? Rough? Chappy? Can't afford NRoo or boomer.

My concern with Pav is will his scores be impacted by the return of fyfe?
