So I guess if the opposition fan wants to make any "noise" at all directed at an opposition's player, it'd sure better be positive reinforcement, encouraging them to do well, otherwise they'll be evicted from the stadium.
Seems a bit arbitrary, certainly doesn't encourage me to ever want to go to a live Footy game ever again.
Hope that works out for them. God forbid any fan should ever question an Umpire's decision, or they might be headed straight to Prison.

You mean to tell me there was ever any doubt with all those dead giveaways.

Should have waited another day or two to break it to them to see how many gullible saps would fall for it in the meantime. :ROFLMAO:
I dunno, it sounds like something that could be legit. The AFL did announce they are banning coaches from whistling and other similar noises to get players attention as it plays up with the TV audio. Maybe this could be seen as bullying so they decide to ban it too.

I did get that it was a joke, the Aus Open tag gave it away, but I also wouldn't be completely surprised.

Ihis might be a joke, but I can see an AFL "official" seeing it and say "What a great idea, let's try it"

Thanks @Connoisseur @Ironhawk and to the guys that have joined so far.
I hadn’t entered the darts thread before the World Champs, but have been a watcher of that event over the years. Just hoping to provide an entry into what is a great sport, the players look like they live a life of beer and pies (other than Price), and they probably do, but they are that talented and it’s a great sport to watch.
Love to see a few more entries because I genuinely think this will be an underrated comp over the course of the year.

Third season of @The Banker darts game about to get underway in less than a fortnight with prizes on offer once again as entry into 2025 SCS Cash leagues. Great odds considering the amount of participants involved to possibly parlay that into some cash league winnings come the end of 2025.

If anyone ever thought "cuddly Ross Lyon" ever existed the departure of Lethlean shows the "my way or the highway, I must control" Ross Lyon never went away. The seeds of division have already been planted. The Saints will play finals for a few years and he is a good coach no doubt but divide and control is what he does best. Olympic gold medalist if that was a sport.

Purely my personal opinion. However if you put "Ross Lyon Lethlean" in Google you will get a wide spread of information on recent developments and Bassat is already being asked by the media if Ross Lyon has too much influence. Don't doubt he can coach. I think he believes that is the type of control he needs to do his job. However I believe Freo experienced the same kind of scenario with a love/hate relationship developing within the Club. Don't have any gripe with St Kilda the Club.
