I just noticed that the “show byes” filter doesn’t seem to include the early season Byes - seems like an odd omission 🙄

Yeah agree, it is a bit disappointing, maybe it was gonna take them too long to re-program it or something.

Don’t recall seeing that info down the bottom before, nice to have some further info/ transparency

They also could've added, depending on how under or overscored the game already is
I thought with clangers they only took 3 points off, that's what I remember last season.

None of the current FWDs averaged over 100 last year, it's slim pickings for keepers.
Need to judge who the likely break-outs might be.

Not sure how it compares to previous years, but only 89 out of 779 players have DPP status.

Since 2011 and prior to this season, there has only been 3 other seasons where there were <100 DPP players to start the year (highlighted below).

There were 150 (from a pool of 782) at the start of last year.
135 from 783 in 2022.
118 from 771 in 2021.
123 from 815 in 2020.
119 from 817 in 2019.
142 from 807 in 2018.
142 from 813 in 2017.
158 from 805 in 2016.
128 from 818 in 2015.
79 from 809 in 2014.
107 from 816 in 2013.
87 from 841 in 2012.
97 from 795 in 2011.

Helps the casual players stay interested. Definitely helps the run of the mill coaches like me become a bit more likely to stay in the hunt longer.

Think it’s a good thing in the long run, just different.

Feel generous
As much as I use to benefit from players exhausting trades early, injury hits in last two years has saved me by increase trades.
Those who take risk will amp up risk due to more trades - I probably did with mid price madness last year seeing my place +70k after 4 rounds.
Think we both will end up starting with the same trades but you will take advantage of it more than me
I will need all my SC strategy tactics to catch you back

Just don't go online saying something, you will get told you don't need to play the game!

If you created a league it will be on your home dashboard


If you didn't create a league it will only have the option to create or join a league
