Opinion Questions For Rowsus

Hi Rowsus, I'm stuck on whether to trade Impey or Ambrose to Lloyd after holding off for a week. Unfortunately the extra week hasn't helped!
Pros of trading Ambrose:
I will very likely save 100 points from 2 donuts in the byes. Also potentially save more donuts if there is forward line carnage.
Pros of trading Impey:
I gain about 30k if Ambrose plays 1 week, and about 80k if he plays 2. If he plays consistently I gain around 160k.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Currently I have 1 trade locked in dunstan to Robertson
I was wondering if its worth fixing up dead rookies like obrien. For instance, I could go obrien to Lloyd this week
Or should I stick to my original plan and go Langdon>Simpson. I might struggle to do 1 up 1 down next week if I pick Simpson tho

Hi Rowsus. Just wanting a bit of advice re my trades this week. I have locked in Ellis > Robertson which leaves me with $417,800 in the bank (25 trades left). I am unsure whether to do another downgrade (e.g. Langdon to Cutler) and build up the kitty or do an upgrade. If I upgrade Langdon it leaves me with $660,600 to spend so I can get any defender, or I could upgrade another mid rookie. Cunningham is my "cheapest" rookie that I would consider upgrading, giving me $643,600 to spend so I could get Rocky, Boyd, Griff etc. I'm just not sure where the money is best spent.
Also, do you think it is wise to hold Tyson and Dunstan until their byes and ride out any loss in value or should I look to upgrade one of these this week and keep Cunningham a bit longer seeing as he has the lower B/E?

My plan for the most part of this week was to double downgrade Ellis and Tyson to Robertson and Lloyd, partly because I had the belief that the rookies were beginning to dry up and there weren't many coming through.
However, with the teams being revealed tonight and numerous rookie-priced players being named (O'Rourke, Salem, Tippett, McGovern in the starting 22 and Honeychurch, Lennon, Hartung and Newton on the extended bench). I am beginning to reconsider my trades this week, as I think there could be some decent cashcows in a few rounds time (particularly interested in O'Rourke, Salem and Honeychurch if he gets a game).
I am now considering going Ellis to Robertson and Tyson to Swan.
Whilst Swan has an inconvenient bye round, assuming there are no injuries and all rookies hold their positions, I will be able to field 18 players in round 8 with a few trades.
Do you think now that it appears there are some good rookies coming through, that trading in Swan this round rather than double downgrading would be a good option?

Cheers for the Reply Rowsus, Have a new one i like to get your opinion. Want about moving Langdon to mid bench with his BE of 44 shouldn't go down. And then do Ellis to Simpson? Has lost money and is in my under 500k rule. Shouldnt miss any games as he dosnt seem to miss any. Most likey will have a ave of 95 so im not jumping on when low. But his scores this year have been top notch.
I don't understand this double downgrade stuff. Get those premiums in asap. You double downgrade this week then you get 3 injuries and your stuck with cash sideways trading.

You downgrade now while there are rookies available so you have the cash for upgrades in the next few rounds. Otherwise you are stuck with no cash, riding out rookies who have already peaked and will lose potential cash if you are forced to downgrade them to rookies who have already had a price rise.

sometimes I think building up too much cash can be detrimental. I'd squeeze an upgrade in this week, something like Langdon to Simpson.
As to Tyson, Dunstan and Cunningham, the safer option is Cunningham, but the other two are more likely to kickstart their money making again with a 90-100 score. I think they're worth the risk, even if it ends up costing a little in the long run.
