Unlucky for Charley Hoffman this morning trying to get his comeback win after a bunch of injuries etc and at 47 years old.
Just got pipped at the post in the playoff by Nick Taylor on the second playoff hole. I was barracking for him because he's an old Golfer like me...and we need all the help we can get.
The difference between him and me is though, is that he's a good golfer.
Your'e only a decent tournament or two from catching the leader, I only had 2 finish in the farmers the other week and still i'm somehow leading the segment, don't give up hope for winning the year because it's literally anyone's mate
Oh wow! I know he would've been fuming after his double bogey on the last, and then the way he ran up those stairs so fast, he mustn't have been thinking clearly. Oh I just read your Twitter post that it was from hole 4, gee some of that blame should be on His caddy too shouldn't it?...shouldn't they be conferring during the round to make sure scores were correct?
It's good to see Will Zalatoris back and able to play good golf again, must've been a scary time for him after having back fusion surgery, wondering if he'd ever be able play at the top level again.
Pretty crappy Tournament for me also, really enjoyed watching Hideki lay waste to the rest of the field with his super accurate Iron play on the run home, everyone else was just in stuff up mode, while he was just almost perfect in his shot execution.
Congrats! I've worked my way down from 15.5 at the end of 2023 to 13.5 now. Still working on that next step to become a low-mid-handicap golfer (< 12).
Yeah taking a while. Last summer I was into 9.4 and over winter just lost all ability to play the game and blew right out (well as much as they let you now) so slowly creeping my way back down.
